Received further e-mail from IPC today regarding Lindt hamper. She apolgised for the confusion over free gifts. Apparently she said there is further stock coming in. I asked whether they could be sent recorded this time round as previously there were lost en route, they were despatched on 24 December.
Fingers crossed!0 -

Hi
Does anyone know if you can cancel with Great Magazines if it says 12 months?
Thank You in advance0 -
VNU BUSINESS PUBLICATIONS deducted 3p from my bank account via direct debit a few days ago. I don't remember subscribing to anything. I only requested a free issue of Classic Fm magazin a few days ago, but have not given my details.
This is the only webpage I've found which connected with that name:
http://www.vnunet.com/
Anybody has any idea what it could be?
Thank you!
I've found this, I guess it's one of these magazines. Cancelled it anyway..

I got a letter today about my eve subscription. They said my free gift (Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine) was out of stock but that they will be getting more on the 17th January and they will be sending it out recorded delivery.
Woooo Lets hope it comes!

P.S. I also tried for the free lindt choc hamper but got a rubbish skincare gift instead with a letter apologizing that they had ran out!"The journey of 1000 miles commenced with a single step"0 -

The woman i spoke to on the phone said it could take up to 14 days to arrive but she also said that all orders for this offer would be fulfilled.
My letter said " the promotion that we ran in the January 2008 issue was loaded onto an unrelated offers website without our knowledge, leading to an influx of orders that we were not expecting."
MSE???? LOL
Where do you buy your 'capsules' for the machine? Don't want to spend a fortune!

Anyone who has used myfavouritemagazines:
In the T&C:

You may cancel your subscription within 60 days of purchase (the “Initial Period") provided you give us written notice. If you want to cancel your subscription within the Initial Period you must write to us at xxx supplying your name, address, subscription number (if possible) and the magazine name. If we receive your written notice within the Initial Period we will refund you for all unmailed issues of the magazine. We will only cancel subscriptions within the Initial Period.
I don't get the part where they say: we will refund you for all unmailed issues of the magazine. Do they take out the whole 12-month subs price at once when they setup the direct debit?
I'd like to subscribe to a magazine that is 341 initially...
Thanks in advance.0
