I got a card from Marie Claire about the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide freebie - also out of stock. This has happened in the past and I've always got the gifts in the end even if it is a few months late

Well thanks pcg2001 & Dormouse, earlier, for at least trying to answer. Yes, I did a general search , not much apart from saying it was an affiliate site, - I ask because I'm not sure it used to require you to join just to take up offers but will probably get some offers from it.

Hi,

Does anyone know if you take out a gift subscription, whether the free gift gets delivered to the gift recipent's address or to the person taking out the subscription?

I've heard nothing regarding the chocolate hamper - what happens if they don't get stock? do they substitute with something else? I wouldn't have taken the sub out if it wasnt for this as my mum already gets the mag and passes it on to me.

I e-mailed IPC magazines yesterday and asked them when am likely to receive Lindt hampers, I took out three subs and all 3 direct debit payment were taking out of my account early December so hope to hear back from them soon.

Same here. Yes, if they cannot get more stock of the item offered then they usually give a substitute, sometimes a better gift(s) but sometimes not! I know some MSErs have complained if a substitute gift was not suitable etc

Not always so, was waiting for ages for the Benefit make -up bag with Eve sub, and chased them. Then on Christmas day I go round to my mum's ( who I took the sub out for) and she hands me it saying " This is the second one they've sent me so you might as well have it" !!! So the ( innocent) chasing worked, we both got a freebie!

Have just received an e-mail from IPC about Lindt hamper. E-mail says that according to their records the free gifts were despatched so they must have been lost en route! I took out 1 sub for myself and 2 gift subs for Christmas presents so am not happy. I e-mailed them back saying thought it was strange that all three gifts are lost. I asked whether they were sent recorded and what date they were sent.
