It is for the You Are What You Eat Magazine as I have it and it was a Brooklands direct debit.0 -
I checked yesterday and they are both 12 month subscriptions.0

Liz, no I've not subscribed to that one - was wondering if it was Supernanny?? can't think of any others that I have taken out recently, all mine are coming to an end now!!0

I had a look at the magazines and its one of the conditions on the direct debit form. I have taken subs out with these magazines before but without the 12 month subscription condition, so not sure if theyve just started to do this.
May be better to phone for the offer and ask?0 -
I received this reply to my e-mail asking why know novel with Company magazine that was delivered.
" Thank you for your recent email.

Costs have risen over a prolonged period of time and we have been extremely reluctant to pass those costs onto our loyal subscribers. Whilst we have sustained this for as long as possible and continued to absorb them, we now find ourselves in the position of not being able to maintain both the level of discount offered and the provision of the covermount service.

I sent the following reply for all the good it will do -( TBH - I fell a bit on dodgy ground as I personally am not a loyal subscriber but a freebie getter - however there are loyal subscribers who are being penalised.)
Hi
Thankyou for replying to my e-mail. I realise it is not your personal decision but I think it is a very poor excuse. I think it is a very poor way for a company, a company that produces many magazines and makes a lot of profit each year, some of which comes from it's subscribers to behave. I do not believe that such an organisation couldn't afford any raise in postal charges - rather it is a choice to penalise the loyal customer and target the casual buyer. I will however vote with my feet and not subscribe to anymore Quality magazines publications and instead buy occasionally from the newstand. I would appreciate it if you could pass this e-mail on to the person who made this decision. Thankyou again for your prompt reply.0 -

Could it be Property Ladder ? I had this on 3 issues for £1, and have just cancelled after I received my 3rd copy - I'm sure it was Brooklands Magazine on the DD !0
