i subscribe to Company and noticed in Tesco that it had a free sample of some moisturiser and a marian Keyes novel. i will be e-mailing to complain 1 because I really like marian Keyes's books and 2 it's a bl**dy cheek subscribers are paying in advance but missing out. I don't care about posatge costs - these are multi million companies and they're taking the mick.

I agree - it stinks

it costs them pence to make the magazine, most of that is covered by the advertisers, and they are just trying to save money by hitting the one group of people who actually in the main, are supporting them by taking out a monthly subscription

i suspect more and more people will boycott subscriptions to magazines who do this - maybe we ought to list magazines without the cover gift so we can decide if the "free gift offer with subscription" is going to be worth missing out on the cover gifts

Me too, this is the last one I'm waiting for and I had a card through from royal mail today as well, phoned up to get it re-delivered (card said roll - don't now what that means).

Same thing happened last week though, and it was 2 energy saving lightbulbs, was really excited and then.........."oh nice"

Its my sons birthday coming up (15) and I thought I would get him a couple of mag subscriptions as I'm struggling for ideas. Does anyone know of any offers for the four four two mag? Also he is quite into cars so are there any good car mags anyone could recommend?
