anyone not recieved their ELLE mag this month yet? i usually get it before it hits the shops although saw it in shops the other day and there is still no sign of it.

Kerry, was it a 3 for £1 offer because those sneaky bguggers have a way of starting and stopping so fast you forget that you haev had 3 off them! Just make sure you have cancelled your DD -

Had £12 taken out a couple of days ago from a firm calling themselves NATIONAL MAGAZINE and really have no idea who, what or when which is frankly terrible on my part! Have now cancelled but have a feeling that it is too little too late. Does anyone have a clue what it may have been for/from/because??

Thats strange cos I have received the CK Euphoria Blossom and now the Lacoste touch of pink with Elle Mag within a couple of months of each other and no letter or anything. I would think as long as they are getting your money they wouldnt be bothered. Maybe you were just unlucky but I dont see why they should do that to you. Maybe send for it in someone else's name and use a different credit card.

Well I have just set up DD's for Instyle x 3 for £1 plus Glamour x 6 for £6. Done through Cashback kings as apparently you get more back. £4.60 I think? So hopefully I will be able to cancel both of these after the initial payments go through and everything will be ok...can you tell Im a bit hesitant! LOL Seems too good to be true.

I recently subscribed to SHE via Quidco. I received my first copy last week, but noticed over the weekend that all shops stocking this magazine have a free gift (a shopping bag) with it.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's not the first magazine I've subscribed to where I haven't received the gift. Why should they penalise those who may be considered the most loyal of their customers?

Sorry, I don't know what mag it was for but.....

A while back I did a few of the 3 issues for £1 - after having received emails from the mag company advertising this offer. Then I noticed that one had carried on and taken the next quarters dd out - I am usually very good at making sure I cancel, even take a screen dump and date it and make a note that I have cancelled the DD.
Anyway, I digress.
I phoned up the mag company, and explained that as a result of them emailing me with the 3 mags for £1, I had signed up - but they had now taken the next quarters dd out, when I had only wanted/could only afford the £1 offer. He apologised and offered straight away to cancel, and to reimburse the money taken - and he was as good as his word.
So, do try and find out which mag it was for - there is usually a ref number, if you phone up they may give you a refund

I always get the cover gifts with my subs
Maybe you got the next issue and missed the gift???

mind you - shopping bags I with they would think of something else to give away!!!

If you look on the first page and post of the thread below, it gives you a list of what magazines send out the cover gifts to subscribers. Sadly, SHE doesn't seem to be one of them.
