I had a blast of energy and cleaned out the parrot, hoovered and sorted the ironing into piles of "do today - do tomorrow - do whenever"..... made DD's take the Wii up into one of their rooms so that I'm not subjected to constant rows over mario kart....Booked the bathroom for an hour this evening, everyone needs to have wee'd/poo'd/brushed teeth/squeezed spots/had boyfriend dramas before my alloted time as I'm fed up with the constant.....knock, knock...I know you're in the bath but can I just.......

I did 20th Century history for O level and loved it. Russian Revolution/Great Depression/Hoover Dam/WW2/Cold War.
Is there any way you can quietly have a word with someone at the hospital Sammy and get someone who he sees as an 'expert' to tell him once and for all he isn't having a heart attack?"Stay Wonky":D

Pooky -I'll have some of what you're on today!
Scorgeous - Just watched the end of The Rutles (fell asleep last night) mock documentary of the Beatles v. funny. I like Eric Idle!
BB - I managed to scrape an O level by picking 4 out of 6 topics and memorizing the Letts revision guide the night before the exam (sad to say not my first all-nighter study session:rolleyes:). Not sure it's a good example for the lads tho but we all seem to be night owls here when it comes to brain work...Lose The Beef Challenge- start 17.01.11 3.5lbs/60lbs

I've been there, but didn't enjoy it. I found it degenerated quite quickly into endless rooms of pointy sticks.
Go to one of the proper castles. They tend to have a bit more in the "history" line, especially if it was someone famous who lived there."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

OH wants to go to A&E to see if the pain/burning in the chest is the result of iminent heart attack (or just the usual heartburn) and the pain in his arm is as a result of doing one too many press ups (ie just one press up) or if he is indeed going to have a heart attack. I can't face another afternoon in A&E for another 'stress related illness' cos that is what it is....
Pardon me to anyone here who is lurking and may be upset by the above comment but he is like the boy who cried wolf........
Tell him he needs to have his nerve impulses checked out to see if he needs a pacemaker. That requires having a big metallic probe pushed into his anus and then electric shocks out to his extremities to test the conductance of his central nervous system.
It's Sunday - they should be able to fit him in as it'll be quiet..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Sammy can he not go on his own? I do feel sorry for him but the temptation to tell him to get a grip must be massive.
Sometimes he goes on his own, but this time I am going with him, so I can verbally abuse him when the doc says there is nothing wrong with him again!!Oh sammy you poor thing, and I know it isn't at all funny but:rotfl:(sorry but your exasperated descriptions make me giggle... loudly)
Have you thought about stamping on his feet so hard he forgets about the heart attack for an hour or two? It would also have the added benefit of him not being able to follow you around to moan at you

Agree with Buffy about OH going on his own. Does he always go to GP / Hospital with his symptoms or does he just tell you about them?
We are coming to the end of a three week cycle of him suffering in silence (but noisily IYSWIM.....deep sighing, hand on chest, pained expression) until I ask him whats wrong....he tells me, I laugh. He keeps on and on until I say if you are that bad go to A&E (even though he could have easily gone to the docs on Friday, but that would have interfered with work and he can't go tomorrow cos he is in a meeting.......:cool:).
I have seriously had enough this time and IF there is nothing wrong I will be suggesting he seeks psychiatric help........Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
