Hi Marru, Ange and IM.
Bump in the road last night, X factor and a lager. Just the one.
Jo, let's do this. I need to, so do you.
Don't want the children thinking it's 'right' to have a drink every night. It's portrayed as normal in all the UK soaps, even more so as they knock it back at lunchtime, but I know it's not right.
So I'm still on 10/14.DC.

I have been AF now for 14 continuous days. My previous best was 16 so will beat that.
I was asking myself today " Do I miss it " and the honest answer must be NO
I dont miss the fact that I am wondering if I am OK to drive, Will I get pulled in for a test at work, Have I got enough beers in the fridge, Can I afford it and what time can I start drinking
Will have some in Sept as I have arranged a surprise weekend for my OHs Birthday. Weekend in London and a visit to see 'Oliver'. Believe it or not neither of us have never seen a west end show so looking forward to that one.
Anyway enough of me and my positivity I have work to do

Waving, white flag at wine bottle I consumed last night.:o I surrender.
Nothing bad happened ... I am just sick of feeling "crap". I want to decide when my "turning point" will be and NOT have it decided for me because something "bad" has happened through drinking.
I have 3 gorgeous little boys who kiss & cuddle and tell me I am the best mum in the world on a daily basis. Why would I want to miss any of this by being drunk. ? They will turn into "Kevins" before I know it:eek: My DH also kisses & cuddles me and tells me how lucky he is to have such a " gorgeous"wife. I have it all ...why throw it away,.
DH and I are a bit like " Jack & Vera" ..we bicker on a daily basis but only ever have blazing rows when drunk.:o Last night I was watching " Come Dine with me"( I LOVE it). He says " do we have to watch this rubbish" . " yes" I said without looking at him. A drunk me , would have stormed off upstairs in a huff and " divorced "him at least 3 times.:o Stupid or what
On a final note. .. Last night DH said to me " If you stop drinking will I still get my leg over ? I replied " if you carry on looking at me over your glasses like my dad does then ... I wouldn't bank on it";)
Right off to catch up on what you lot have been up to.:p
