I'm back and internet either didn't go down or is now back on after me paying the bill
Counsellor had a go at me for drinking, I've promised faithfully not to do it again, so looks like I'm on day one. Got a full night planned though, 2 x corrie, eastenders, BB and my book
Eselt, question for you when you get a chance please.....Counsellor gave me a leaflet about alcohol and liver damage. It mentions the GGT test I had and the enzymes that have broken down which causes an enflammed liver which I have, this is described as mild hepatitus in this leaflet, is that what I've got?? Wished I'd know as I 'probably' would've taken it more seriously when I was diagnosed
Just eaten cowboy's lunch, which is apparently what cowboy's eat so the book DS was reading yesterday says....chopped up sausages, onion and bacon in the pan then when cooked chuck in a tin of baked beans and there you have it, bread and butter to mop up the plate  actually feel quite sick now _pale_
YM, just bought this little lot in town, fairly boring colours, but v. useful
Right gotta go do some tidying or summat.....
Oh before I go, a few of my favs from the Edinburgh Festival...
Who are the most decent people in the hospital? The ultrasound people.
A dog goes into a hardware store and says: "I'd like a job please". The hardware store owner says: "We don't hire dogs, why don't you go join the circus?" The dog replies: "Well, what would the circus want with a plumber".
I like to go into the Body Shop and shout out really loud "I've already got one!"
After her accident, my nan had a plastic hip put in. But I thought they should have replaced it with a Slinky, coz if she did fall down the stairs again ...
I got an odd-job man in. He was useless. Gave him a list of eight things to do and he only did numbers one, three, five and seven. Had to get an even-man in to finish it off.

Jo - thanks for the jokes v funny!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got too much competition these days!
Did anyone else hear on the news today about people drinking much more than usual whilst on hols (no !!!!!!, Sherlock....) & seemingly thousands have pledged to have an af September. Hope they don't all join on here then ym will have to give up his day (night) job! So will the rest of us, to keep up the reading!!0 -
I did really laugh at those two.:rotfl:
I am feeling a little bit delicate today, I had one and a half bottles of wine last night. I did say that I was getting into bed at 11 though and at exactly 11 I got into bed and went straight to sleep. I love it when that happens.:D
Not surprised going to sleep straight away after that much wine!! That's a weekly safe limit in one night!!0 -

Went to bed early again last night - mainly because I was feeling VERY aggravated. My In-laws managed to wind me up again. They text OH last night to say they had taken the two kids out for the day to Poole and how they all had a wonderful time. They never offer to take Piglet (not that I would let them anyway as neither of them can walk very well...which isn't very handy when you have a toddler that can run fast!!) but they did say they had got him some smarties. Oh whoopy doo. Lets all get overwhelmed by that.

Resentments hurt us the most. That's what many people drink over.
Be careful Miss P.
Don't let them build up or fester
Remember your post from early July -I'm ashamed to say I did not resist the half bottle in the fridge the other day. Drank that then moved onto another bottle. Think I reached my lowest that night. I got very ugly and nasty towards OH. Ashamed to say I even made him pack a bag. Long story but OH hurt very badly by previous wife and I KNOW that the idea of being thrown out of his home is the worst thing that I could do to him.
Luckily I came to my senses (sobered up) in time to stop things. What possessed me to act that way I don't know. Well, I do. The drink.
So I know a decision has to be made. Alcohol or my family. And I know what I chose. The thought of losing my family is devastating. I know now its all or nothing. So from now on I HAVE to say I'm a non-drinker. Just can't afford the fallout that happens each time I go overboard.
Drinking causes such chaos, mayhem and pain for everyone around us too0 -

GC - Knew I could rely on you to remind me what an idiot I am
I really do have no stopping mechanism it seems when it comes to wine. Luckily, Ive sort of realised that running to the bottle when someone annoys me isn't the answer. Last night I went to bed early to avoid argument with OH, and it worked. Today we are fine. I've always had the tendency to fly off the handle - guess I have to learn when to NOT combine that with drink.
Miss P
