  • Afternoon All :hello:

At work and guess what....with a thick head. If only that one large glass was all I had. The bottle is in the recycling bin this morning and thats where I should be too!!! She of little will power.

Make matters worse I got bad news of a very young friend in Ireland (36) who in the last 2 months has gone from a wobble when he walked to sticks, wheelchair and now bed bound. Reformed alcoholic and hasnt had a drink for 9 years - regularly attended AA meetings and went on the Run them. Apparantly his antibodies are eating away at his nervous system. Nice! Some are saying it's from all the drinking years ago.......he didnt drink for that many years but he did drink very very heavily. You'd think hearing that would be enough to scare me to leave the bottle in the fridge! Oh no, just sent me the other way! Anyhow, the person who informed me of his condition doesnt really know whats caused the situation and just making assumptions I think..

Cazz.....dont beat yourself up, you've done marvously well over the last 2 weeks, and you are on here this morning acknowledging you fell off....well done. Just jump back on the wagon and do your best, that's all anyone can ask...thats all you can do!

Um, tuberware fettishes a bit strange. I do have a male friend who has a Llama fettish!! Was googling that at work a couple years ago to find him a Christmas present!! Played safe and got him some pillow cases with Llama's on! lol

    Hello all

Bit of a sad day in the Piggy house today. One of Mum and Dads dogs had to have x-rays on his legs this morning as he kept falling over (he's 12 years old). Turns out he has a large tumour. Mum and Dad are going to the vets after lunch to be with him when he's put down. Everyone is so upset. They have had him since a puppy. He was Dads first racing greyhound (and a bloody good one) and when he retired he came home to spend his time lazing round Mum and Dads house. He was lovely and I'm very upset. Had to explain to Piglet which was awful. He and Drew were best friends! God, who'd have pets eh???

Hope everyone is ok. I will probably be AF tonight. Just want to go and bury myself under a duvet (I don't deal with death very well really)

    Miss P
