Yes, that's true! Tonight I've taken the washing off the drying stand and correctly paired up 40 black socks (oh, the excitement!).
Off to bed to read. Thinking that if I'm all tucked up I might be able to focus more.
Night all.

Just called in to say:hello:
Eselt, I'm feeling for you. So sad that you had to pass up on your trip because others don't understand how far you've come and where you are now. Hopefully it won't always be like this and I hope it's some comfort that those of us who have come to 'know' you do understand. Have you stayed in same area and within same circles since you had all your problems?
Debtmonkey, I'm so glad that your OH is picking up. It sounds a bit of a roller coaster for you to deal with and I'm not surprised it's hard to stay AF and cope with the problems at the same time. Hardly surprising that you managed your AF start while OH was away. Delighted to hear that you were coping on apple juice tonight. If you stay AF tonight it will be a triumph for you. Go for it!!
Cazz, I think that like Debtmonkey you have enough to do coping with your AF target without the added stress (and booziness) of the Gaypride shindig. Your OH seems to understand that you needed peace and rest at this time (and you haven't denied her time with her old mates) so take time out, chill and keep up the good work!
Good evening to all posters (and lurkers). Holidays mean that we are all popping in and out frequently.
Budgie I am worried that we haven't heard from you recently, but perhaps you've sneaked off to have that curry in Brick Lane with DS without telling us. I do hope so.:A

glasgowgirl wrote: »God, I'm bored tonight. Without booze the evenings seem so long. Can't seem to settle to anything. Tried reading the papers, mags, a book. Started watching a film, then switched to a DVD. Restless and not sure why.

That is just how I feel tonight. This is the first Saturday I can remember where I didn't have a drink and its weird. I want to go to bed because I can't think what else to do! The dogs aren't used to me going to bed this early though and one of them especially hates a change from routine and will just whine and howl at the bottom of the stairs if I go up too early!:p My OH has had his usual beer (which I don't mind) so I expect the evening has gone fast for him but its just been strangely long to me.
Ive had a tidy up and washed up a saucepan and a knife but theres nothing else to do really. I will go to bed soon and have a read of a book. Something I haven't done a lot of.
Sleep tight everyone!0 -

Darling Budgie
Thanks so much for posting. We are all worried about you. Please, please don't worry your little head about me. I am fine .... just suffering from normal mummy mania during 7 weeks holiday:rotfl::rotfl:.
My wee mum is now out of hospital and is very much on the mend so one less thing for me to worry about.
Is your visit to DS this week ? I really hope things are beginning to improve for you & DH. Has he/ you been to see GP??
Lots of (((hugs))

Hi Sweetheart,
I am so pleased to hear your Dear Mum is coming out of hospital, it must be such a relief to you. Of course I worry about my mate :-)
There is lots going on at the moment with myself and DH, I have been back to someone I trust implicity. She is now going to help my DH, long story but I feel I am on the right track with him, so to speak. Our doctors are not so good, so I am going down the alternative therapy path.
My Dh seem so much better from one session with this person than with months of counselling with our Doctor,
I have myself gained holistic therapy qualifiations and at one point I thought this was the correct path for me?????
One thing that struck me was when I was in Scotland and had to visit the Doctor, how much time they have for you? I was amazed, in contrast in Stokie land they are writing the perscriotions before your bum has touched the seat ............................................
The person I trust is someone that I have found to be genuine and I do believe that she can help?
But I SHALL BE IN LONDON FROM THE 24TH AUGUST, HOW COOL IS THAT .............................. And I so thought our Darling Jo was cooking the curry :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Cherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home
