'Use your phone for more than 2 minutes today and the call charge will fail for qualifying calls'
Can anyone make head or tail of this gibberish? It popped up after a short call to a landline this morning.
What qualifying calls?
Fail?

Basically the O2 PAYG standard price plan is that for calls to landlines and O2 Mobiles, the first 3 minutes a day is 25ppm then everything else after that is 5ppm. So the system is just reminding you how much longer you have to talk before you get the 5ppm rate.
Of course it only applies if you are being charged for the call (i.e. if it is not included in a free allowance, bolt-on etc.)
This call charge reduction doesn't apply for XNet calls which are 25ppm at all times0 -
Thank you, but I assume you knew that because you have been told, not that the message explained that to you!
(Plain English award, anyone?)

Well, this is kind of an experiment!
Data is free. I don't use the phone that much for calls, usually just texts.
I just cancelled my last phone contract (T-mobile, £20 p/m with more credit than I ever used)
If I go through less than £20 credit p/m using the iphone I'm quids in!(I didn't pay for the phone!
)
