When visiting MK instead of going to blue badge car park ask the parking CM's to park you on the end of the row. So a short walk to the trams. In MK the disabled car park is quite a long walk to the gate and although there are courtesy wheelchairs its still quite a push.
Just a thought! Came to me while changing the blasted clocks this morning!!! Its not even lateral thinking is it!

That's interesting and really useful advice - does the same principle apply at other parks or is it particularly the way the disabled car park is arranged at MK?

Most of the other parks, the blue badge car park is very close to the gate but MK is quite a long way even if you get into the first row!

Well, after nearly 7 years of being away from the magic at Disney, I am going back in January!! Yesterday we found a deal with Virgin for £860 each for 14 nights at Port Orleans Riverside and promptly booked it! We were considering getting an AP to use some of the discounts, but opted to book 14 day ultimate tickets as that meant we receive a $550 gift card to spend at WDW on restaurants and shops, which also works out as a good deal. All in all we are very happy and very excited! On with the planning!

anyone know of any decent park ticket prices atm? both disney and universal
  • Hi, I am totally new to this so please bear with me!!! Im looking to help out my family who are looking to book a 2 week holiday in disney next may (21st). They want to stay in disneys port orleans riverside and fly from manchester airport. They also want basically unlimited use of the parks there. I am generally good at searching prices etc online for various things but have absolutely no idea where to begin finding them the best possible price for this holiday and i was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction?
They are 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 6)
I have been quoted £3773 (approx) for the package with virgin but that does not include any park tickets or food (although they dont necessarily need a food package)..............Can anyone please advise me as id really like to help them out and im sure the above price could be beaten (she says hopefully!!!!!)

    Thanks in anticipation x
    £100- £10,000 so far; 0/10,000

    Hi

We're off to Orlando for xmas can't wait, we're staying at Calabay Parc in the Davenport area, just wondering if anyone knows anything about this "estate"
    thanks

We have been twice to Orlando and have stayed at Calabay Parc both times. Villas are clean and spacious. The estate is quiet and feels safe. It is near to shops and only about 10 minutes away from Disney Parks. We are going back in April and can't wait. Hope you enjoy as much as us!!:j

    Hi,

I got my tickets from attraction tickets direct. Got actual tickets from them, not vouchers. They are doing an offer at the moment for Seaworld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens with the Busch Gardens free (buy two get one free). We're thinking of going down to Busch so bought that one just in case, they are also doing Universal two park tickets for the same price as Universal direct but give you 14 days to use them rather than the 7 Universal give you.

Not doing Disney this year so can't help you, however if you're going this year they are doing buy one get one free for Kennedy Space Centre, that makes it £14.00 each for a day out, big bargain if you were going down there anyway like we were.

Anyway here's the link to their site. http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/orlando-florida.htm

The major tickets came via courier so need to worry about the post!

    Hope that helps.
