i find dibbs great and the bigger the better, just means we are helping more and more people enjoy a holiday in WDW

the search function on dibbs will answer any question

I love the dibb too, I found the site just after my first trip to Disney lol. And it has certainly enriched the visits since, the only problem is every holiday is more expensive than the last due to new things you find to do in WDW from the dibb. I am hoping to hear back today that my offer has been accepted on a Disney Vacation Club timeshare - all the dibbs fault.:T

Compared to this site the dibb is tiny. I like disboards too but not a patch on the dibb for you UK holidaymakers.

whilst I appriciatie all the good comments on the dibb and I for one agree the posters are great, but lets help people here on MSE rather than push them to another forum, especially when that other forum that does not let you push places on it so why should we move people from here to there?

Have you tried netflights.com? We couldnt find anyone who came close to their flights price wise. We are stopping off in Atlanta tho but for £1100 for 6 people its worth it we felt!

    Hi Squish

Thanks for that - tried them but they were only offering flights through Amsterdam with KLM for the same price as going direct with Thomas Cook so back to the drawing board for me.

I don't think its a case of pushing users anywhere other than to get more help on the little things. I personally found the Dis Boards a great help when planning my first visit because, quite simply, they are boards dedicated to all things Disney compared to MSE which is one thread on one board.

I read, read and read again the Dis Boards and thanks to the posters there I went armed with loads of information, arranged to share an Illuminations Cruise with some US users and via correspondence with two other families we ended up having a meal before the cruise and a great evening. I also spent, and still do, a lot of time reading other users trip reports as you can pick up a lot of information that helps you plan your own trip.

OK I agree on the Dis and the points you make are valid. The Dibb is not quite like that though

  • not quite sure what your issues are with the dibb disney cjd, but I'm sure you always used to recommend the dibb, it's from you that I found pot about the dibb and I thank you for it as it has been invaluable
  • Is it possible to get into Disney without the big passes, I mean just on a daily basis.
We have booked to go in July 2010 but we havent booked any park tickets yet, I favour the Orlando Flexi pass but my husband thinks we should do Disney, is it possible to do both, it will be our first time in Florida?

I've been looking a the "magic your way" tickets which are available on a website called undercovertourist. I've seem this site recommended in quite a few places and it's also in the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney" book. I'm buying the 4 day pass with 2 days extra free (6 days in the four disney parks). By doing this I save £240.00. You cannot park hop with it and it doesnt include water parks.
  • I've been out and bought this book and I am really impressed. What I particularly like is the access to their website information which is www.touringplans.com. If you buy the book, you can get access for $5.00 and there is even more info on there.

There is one particular section where it tells you the average attendance figures for certain dates so that you can judge the best time to go.

    A very good buy!
