I would prefer to have actual tickets too, I know that http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/ issue real tickets as it says so at the top of the page.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I used Floridatix for my tickets, one of the cheapest out of the main sites and they are real tickets. they dispatch really quickly too with the free postage option so no need to pay for the special delivery option.
Pirates adventure - go to google maps and type in
6400 Carrier Drive
Orlando, FL 32819
i spotted it while looking around int drive on street view. it's pretty smack ban in the middle of int drive0 -
Hi, advice please, we are going to florida sept this year and my mother is paying for all our theme park tickets. When looking they all seem to provide etickets, however being of a different generation my mother wants real tickets in her hand before we go. These seem to be costing more when i'm searching granted only slightly but since there are 10 of us i really want to get best price. She mainly wants these to avoid queuing at the gates to exchange them, is this actually an issue or is there no difference in the etickets to normal tickets. hope that make sense cheers
hi, we booked our tickets through attraction tickets direct and got real tickets. I think they will do price match as well0 -
Thomson have got a deal on tickets for Universal Studios and Island of Adventure, £75 for adult tickets, for 14 days unlimited entry from first use for use in July and August. Can only be got in store, not avaiable on line. I'm not sure how long the offer is on for.
Thank you to Disney&me who posted it on The Dibb, I went and got mine today. They are etickets which will be ready 4 weeks before travel. By far the cheapest I've seen.0 -
That reminds me, I also read on the Dibb that you can use Avios points to buy Universal and Disney tickets, no info on the Avios website, you have to call them.

Hello everyone
having been to orlando back in 2010 with my OH our 3 kids and my parents I have a serious NEED to go back! Last time my parents paid for most of the holiday and we stayed in a lovely new villa just off 192. However we have no saved money and a very tight budget, so I'm wondering if a package deal where I could pay a deposit now for a holiday in sept 2013 would work out more managable for us than doing Diy.
So the quote I have found is from Thomas Cook, 14 nights sept 2013, staying at the Clarion Inn Lake Buena vista, with flights from Gatwick to Sanford, with car hire. for 2xadults and 3xkids, 13, 10 & 6 yrs for £2988. with £300 deposit.
Does this seem a decent deal? has anyone stayed there before, how was it, im thinking similar to a premier inn?? And how is the drive from sanford to Orlando, considering my OH has driven over there before? Thanks for any replies sorry for such a LONG post!0 -
My parents have very generously paid for me to go to Flordia with my boyfriend. We've got a great deal on the flights and hotel through last minute (£830 each for 2 weeks in September flying from Glasgow), I've managed to find Disney park tickets 14 days for the price of 7 which is good but just wanted to know a few things:
1. How much should we take to cover food and drinks?
2. I use a self propelled wheelchair, can I hire one over there so that I don't need to worry about my good one here getting bashed/lost in flight?
3. How do I arrange disability access in the parks? Is it a case of taking my DLA letter out or do I need proof from the doctor/hospital?
Thanks for any advice you guys can offer, I'm so super excited lol!0 -

It's not a bad deal at all for a package holiday, but, bearing in mind that September is one of the most quiet times in Orlando, you might be able to get some good deals if you persevere.
The Clarion is fine. It's basic, and comfortable and it does have a great pool area for days that you want to just chill out in the sun.
If you feel confident I'd read this article;
http://www.totalorlando.com/stayarticles-7-Rental_Home_Guide.html
It's an American Site, but it definitely makes a good case for a Rental Villa. (basically, for about the same price, you can get a really great place to stay).
Good luck!0 -
The previous post (now deleted) is a common misconception.
If you want to upgrade the MYW ticket to non expire, the price you pay applies to the the number of days the ticket was ORIGINALLY bought for regardless of how many days you have left on it. i.e If you want to upgrade a 10 day ticket to non expire, it's the same price whether you have 9,8,7,6.......days left to upgrade.
ETA Just so my post makes sense, the deleted post was to the effect that a ticket upgrade to non-expire is cheaper after using some of the days - so you only pay to upgrade the remaining days.0 -

Have a look at this board on the Dis ...

and especially this thread...

then pop down to the UK planning board....

We were there last month and I did see wheel chairs and scooters being delivered and picked up at our hotel but thats the extent of my knowledge I'm afraid. They have special lines for disabled access as they have to know exactly where you are seated in case a ride breaks down and they need to get everyone off.
I thought it was more expensive this trip for food, a lot depends on where you are staying as in the parks it can be expensive.0
