A bit of advice needed, we are all (9) going to Orlando next Tuesday (Cant wait) and have a lot of birthdays, anniversaries, fathers day etc when we go.
I am thinking of booking the Pirate dinner show for us all to go to, but as we are staying on Idrive we will not have a car and will be relying on the i trolley. Does anyone know how far the show is from Idrive as the reply i had from the pirate show was just not far.
    Many thanks

if it's the 'Pirates Dinner Adventure' then it's about a 5 min walk from i-drive (if that). You turn down Carrier Drive, past 3 or 4 shops and a TGI Fridays and you're there

I have been trying to find a villa for our trip next year, and am struggling to find one within our budget which meets our wants. Can anyone recommend any sites or villas which we may not have found on a general google search?

Have a budget of £600 per week (want 20 nights), must have hot tub and games room and have a view. Want to stay on the Formosa Gardens area (not US27) or on Ponciana (near top end). Looking for August 2013.

Have looked on Dibb, VR360, but can't get one with everything we require in our price range, so hoping someone may have used one previously they can recommend?

    Many thank guys

We always book our Villas via Golden Florida (Google it). Admittedly we go in May so the prices are less around then. You can scope out the different villas on the different estates and book with them.

They are ABTA protected as well so give you that extra piece of mind.

We've just come back from 2 weeks in the Rolling Hills development and had a lovely time!

You would need a magic your way ticket for WDW..the 7 day ticket is the same as the 14 in that the clock starts from 1st use then expires either 7 or 14 days later if you have been or not.

Both Magic My Way tickets and the Disney 5 or 7-Day Premium Ticket expire 14 days from first use, so the ticket does not need to be used over consecutive days.

We have used both types on different trips and done Disney on alternate days with something less tiring on the days in between.

Hi, we are planning a family holiday (2 adults, 2 children (ages 3 and 5)) to Florida in October 2013. We want to go for 21 days. Thinking of a villa so we can have days relaxing by the pool and do most of our meals there. So would need a car. Thinking of getting the 14 day Disney tickets and 14 day Orlando FlexTickets. We have a budget of £6,000. Do you think this is realistic? To get it for anywhere near this price do you think I will have to book everything seperately rather than using a travel agent?

Another question with the 'free' car hire included in travel agents packages, as it doesn't include the full insurance is it best to book seperate car hire elsewhere or is there a cheap insurance policy that can be taken out seperately with another company so we could make use if this 'free' car hire?

Are there any October 2013 flights on sale yet? Seems a long time to wait for November for the Virgin flights to go on sale.

Are there any cheap travel agents/companys that people have used for Florida holidays?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Not if you choose non-expiration option on the myw tickets.

If you're careful how you organise your time, you could probably get away with a shorter flex ticket - and just use it to break up the trip, with a couple of trips to Disney at either end.

As an aside, if you're planning on having a whole week away and getting a car, have you thought about doing the third week away from Orlando? You could probably get a villa at either cocoa beach or St Pete's / Clearwater for much the same price...and spend some time paddling in the sea or taking in the space coast, instead of just hanging around the pool.

Indeed, although this, of course, costs extra and is probably not worth paying the extra for unless you know you'll definitely be back to use them, in which case its probably better value to get more days in the first place..

My point was that the 7 day ticket does not expire 7 days after first use.

In which case you could get the uk 14 day ultimate for the cost of the 7 day premium.

We have annual passes so not looked to heavily into this offer.

Hi, advice please, we are going to florida sept this year and my mother is paying for all our theme park tickets. When looking they all seem to provide etickets, however being of a different generation my mother wants real tickets in her hand before we go. These seem to be costing more when i'm searching granted only slightly but since there are 10 of us i really want to get best price. She mainly wants these to avoid queuing at the gates to exchange them, is this actually an issue or is there no difference in the etickets to normal tickets. hope that make sense cheers
