Travelling to Orlando in Sept and looking for the cheapest park tickets as follows:-

Need Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Universal's Islands of Adventure, Universal CityWorld, SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Would need 14 day passes and able to go between parks same day (if necessary).

Looking around the cheapest I could find is Full Monty from Orlando Attractions for £399.99. This is all parks I require and they don't charge a credit card fee and as a bonus, the tickets are real so no e-voucher and therefore the need to exchange them for real ones.

Can anyone come up with a cheaper option and/or have feedback about using OrlandoAttractions?

    Thanks

Hi, I bought tickets from them back in January due to recommendations on the Dibb forums. It was a very straightforward transaction with great communication and quick delivery. They have a UK office and the US lady is a member of the Dibb and is always around for a friendly chat.

As far as your price is concerned I couldn't really say as we went for the cheaper MYW tickets as we were not fussed about park hopping or water parks and the Universal 2 park bonus. All I can say though is that Orlando Attractions were the most competitive for us and I no longer check out prices.

  • Planning our disney holiday for next year, we are planning on staying in the disney resort, but am a little concerned after reading a few views about the room sizes (2 adults and 2 kids) can anyone comment? is it good value to op for a 1 bed villa? also is it cheaper to book direct with disney? they do seem to have more options than virgin? Thanks

We stayed at Old Key West in 2010 in a studio, and found it more than big enough for three of us (2A and 1C age 12). The studio has two queen beds, plus a small kitchenette area with large wardrobe opposite, plus a bathroom. This site has a floorplan. Not sure how old your children are or if bed sharing is feasible with the two beds, but if this isn't a prblem then a studio whould be big enough.

You will find that if you are planning to travel between 1st January - 19th March or 7th April - 8th December, Disney UK are offering free Dining Plans plus $200 spending money when you book accommodation and tickets (other tour operators will also offer this deal). As they are offering a discount on Old Key West and this gives you the full Disney Dining Plan (one quick service and one table service meal per night's stay), pricewise it can be a better deal than staying off-site or at a cheaper Disney Resort.

Just to add that we had free dining in 2010 and will be staying at OKW this August again with free dining.

Just bought our tickets today from florida tix. real tickets, dibb approved and one of the cheapest. can't wait untill they come. I bought the 14 for 7 disney tickets and the 2 park universal. for our first time i think that's more than enough parks to visit.

    so excited :D

seriously though - for everybody who's planning on going away you seriously need to go to ' the dibb ' website !
  • check out the dibb and the busy day guide ...it very accurate

what is the dibb? I've heard this mentioned previously.

I'm looking to go June 2013, family of 5. The cheapest deal I've found so far is from Travel City Direct at just below the 5 grand mark. Staying for 3 weeks in a villa. Is this a good price? Are they a good company to go with? Would greatly appreciate any advice or tips.

    Thanks:j

The web site for the dibb is www.thedibb.co.uk hope this helps. I would definatley wait a few more weeks as the new brochures for 2013 are being released around now. We are 2 families going - 8 in total and we have booked with cosmos. It works out just over 1100 per oerson including disney tickets and univrsal as well as hotel/flight/transfers. We are going for 2 weeks.

I would look arounf, and possibly look at apartments/condos they are often in lake buena vidta or I drive areas so if you dont fancy driving you can still get around.

    Happy planning.

  • Its been my dream to go to florida since I was a child, But I come from a family who had very little money and could not even afford and weekend break in wales.
so I want what I could never give my kids and my wife has suggested Florida next year knowing its my dream and the kids will love it (5&7)

but for a family of 4 the price is shocking... Im going to need about 5k
to go away in oct 2013 I need to be putting £250 a side every month

dont get me wrong my job is well paid 20k+ and my wife works part time so we have a avg income of about 30k+

But im really struggling to see any way I could afford this holiday....

so before I break my back getting the money together... what are people experience's
is it all that i hoped and is it worth that much money, I would like to buy a house so its a large chunk of a deposit

In my opinion whilst I love Florida I wouldn't choose it over a house, after all its 2 weeks in the sun having fun as opposed to your home and future.

Holidays can be wonderful and even better when you've not broke the bank to do it. Why not wait until its more affordable for you, your kids are young with plenty of time to do it.
Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.
