Hello wondering if any one could find me a cheaper quote.
We are looking to visit Florida the end of August and plan on doing a split holiday.
We will be staying the first week at a Disney resort hopefully with the Disney dining plan
and the second week on site at universal as the second week we would like to visit the non Disney parks.
Iv roughly worked this quote out can any one beat it.
Flying out with virgin on 29 aug £544 pp
Staying one week at Disneys port Orleans
With Disneys ultimate 14 ticket and Disneys Quick service dining plan £1274
Staying the second week universal royal pacific £686
So all in with the Disney tickets £30480 -

I am thinking of the 3 hour evening EMHs, so they will be already in the park with us, and my understanding is that they are happy to let anyone shop and eat in EMHs, but need to see room keys to allow access to rides. We will have separate park tickets to keys. Thanks for info regarding names on keys.
Hi Jeannie
I think you'd get away with it - they only give the tickets/KTTW a cursory glance to check the date is valid rather than the name, is my impression.
They do fiddle with how it works sometimes, and I think I read somewhere they were considering going back to the old wristbands regime. If that does happen, your friend will be out of luck.
Another thought - could you add them to your room for the night to get their own card? I don't mean they should kip on the floornot sure is this would be charged or not depending on your party size though.

Thanks Karen. Think I will just wing it and see. It would be for my then new Son in Law. DD is getting married on a Florida island then later moving to Orlando. The wedding group will split the day after the ceremony and DH and I will be at the Swan and the newlyweds on their own of course off site. They want to meet us for Wishes on an EMH eve. I will suggest they get a "just married' badge - the CMs might look kindly on them! :happyhear
ETA. I think the new high tech RFID wristband is being trialled at Epcot, but I dont think it will be in full use by June.0 -
Hey there, just a quick question as I couldn't seem to find it anywhere. Off to Disney this October on a big family trip, just wondering what the chances were of meeting Jack and Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas), my little cousin (and I!) would love to! Thanks0

I am really sorry, but I don't think you can. at least, we've never seen them, and we've been to Disney quite a lot.
The only possibility that I can think of is at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom? But I've not heard that you can.
If it is any consolation, there is loads of cool NBC merchandise :T0 -

We have been to the Halloween Party but they were not there either. I've never seen them, they are my favourites too.
There is a shop in Frontierland that sells LOADS of Jack stuff - or the villans shop in HS. They do stuff elsewhere but this shop had the most.
I bought 2 Jack t-shirts at the outlet and the print came off in the first wash. while we was there It was a right pain to get a refund and I could not even get a refund on one of them even though I had a receipt so beware, they said I had to go back to the outlet, it has put me off buying from an outlet again, that's for sure.0 -
For those of us who are used to CMs allowing the return window on the Fastpass to be extended to the end of the day, seems we will have to toe the line in future!

Thanks jeannie, I had heard that was coming but not seen it in print. I don't think it is a bad thing, because FP lines to me have always seemed busier at the end of the day than the beginning - in part because fewer people use FPs at the start of day but also because of the cumulative effect of people not using their time window. Hopefully it will also stop the merciless grab of FPs that people have no intention of using, which pushes the time windows so far forward that you can go to Toy Story Mania at 10am even on a quiet day and get a fast pass for 4pm.
However I do hope that if the ride goes tech in your time window they will honour the FP, that would only be fair. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? A quickie for GemJar if she is still reading. If you are interested in dining with an astronaut at Kennedy, it isn't just for kids. However if your boyfriend is a cynic, you can also go to the astronaut talk, which is included in the admission price. It happens a couple of times a day, they do a quick talk on their job and then open the floor to questions. If you do want to meet an astronaut this is a great way of doing it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
