Hi,
i am a newbie here and have been doing lots of reading and research, so was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some guidance/advice please
I am hoping to take my husband and 4 year old daughter next august to florida, but have been pricing up for 2nd half of august, at the moment i am getting prices in region of 3700, with 14 day passes, and staying onsite at WDW, and the free dining plan, this would fly from bristol. is it worth booking a package deal or do you think it would be a lot cheaper to book seperate? im unsure if the dining plan will save us much, what has your experiences been with costs and things and how do you budget yourselves whilst there??
Many TIA,
any advice would be extremely welcome

Does anybody have any suggestions for where to get the best attraction ticket prices? I'm looking for Orlando Studios, Disney and Discovery Cove tickets.
Any help most appreciated.0 -

We went in Feb - dh, myself and 2 ds - we were 3400 just for flight, accommodation adnd car hire - our park tickets cost 1500 on top of that - I priced it out seperatley but tbh couldnt knock much off that and wanted the security of package as it was our first time as a familt to Florida. - Worth every penny though! No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

We went with orlando attraction and got their - The Real Deal Tickets - this included 14 day ultimate Disney pass, and 14 day Orlando Flexi Ticket for 5 parks The adult price is £378 and kids £343.
The chap Simon ( he is based at office in England - they have other office in Kissimmee) we dealt with was great - we left it to a fortnight before we went to get the tickets and he delivered them to our hotel so they were there on our arrival - he even threw in free kids eat free cards. I done a lot of shopping around and they were working out the cheapest for what we were looking for. Was a bit worried buying on the net especially for the amount of money involved - but worked out great - would recommend - we got him through a recommendation on the dis boards.

I feel your pain, tickets are shockingly expensive! We got everything separately (and knocked Wet & Wild off) but still ended up spending about £390 each so the combi ticket probably will work out as good value if you want to do everything.
I'm trying to sort out as much as possible before we go in 2 weeks and I'm just trying to figure out Lynx bus passes so I know what we need when we first hop on! I know we'll get 7 day passes but not sure if we need the 'Fixed Route 7-Day Pass' for $16 or the 'Standard Fare 7-Day Xpress Pass' for $23. Any ideas what the difference is?
orlando attractions.com at the moment are doing their real deal ticket for 378 for adults and 342 for kids - we bought these when we went in Feb and liked the fleixbility they offered - the Disney pass system is so confusing!!No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

Hi all, I have read this forum and find it quite mind boggling !!!! I have a few questions, apologies if they have already been posted and answered but I cant get my head around it. I have booked to go to Quality Inn Internatonal june 2012 for 14 nights with Virgin for myself and 7 year old daughter. I have declined the car as I am a bit of a liability when it comes to driving.
1- Can I get transport to all the parks? ( not planning on visiting Discovery Cove or Waterparks, I think !!!!! )
2- I have the kids eat free on International Drive ( Is this worth anything, should I use it or is it a bit pointless )
3- Will the weather be warm or hot ?
4- How busy are the parks likely to be ? Am I looking at 30 min queues or longer.
5- Prices for park tickets, at the moment its coming in around £865.00 for park tickets, thats the Disney 14 day and the ultimate ticket for Universal etc...... Is this about right ????
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to plan ahead !!!!!!!! Thanks in advance0 -
Kerrie, can answer a few, we used the kids eat frree cards at Mcd , Sizzlers and Cicis pizza so saved a wee bit so if you have it - use it - in my post abover yours the tickets for the 2 of u are working out at about 720 so a wee bit of saving there. Think June is very warm - not sure about anything wlse but i am sure someone will be along soonNo Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

If i were you, i'd give the "worlds largest McDonalds" on Sand Lake Road (very close to International Drive) a very wide berth ! It's the worst McDonalds i've ever been in. There are dozens of them on I Drive, there must have been a good one somewhere but we didn't find one ! The ones a bit further out are much better. I really don't like the I Drive area, it reminds me a bit of Blackpool on a bad day !0
