I agree witht he above poster - kompendium - I couldnt imagine going to orlando and NOT DOING DISNEY!! Although we might not do a full day at epcot, thats just a personal choice. If you have kids or are indead a big kid yourself then its a must.
Were returning next year, and fingers crossed were going to do the mickey's not so scarey halloween evening. Have been reading on thedibb website all about it..... want to go now!!BSC member 137

I also agree with kompendium, and nuttyp, although in our case we would do Epcot and skip Animal Kingdom, but that's just down to personal preference.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

You should definitely go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! I went in 2009 and am going again this year - it's amazing!0 -
Does anyone know if we can access the park ticket before going into the hotel, and after we have checked out of the hotel, or have we been given a 14 day pass, but can only use it for 7 days, because that is all we are at the hotel for. I'd be gutted if this was the case..
I have seen on other forums that it is possible to pick up tickets separately up to 3 days before your check-in date BUT this does seem to be inconsistent and depends on who you speak with.
What I would suggest is to e-mail Disney and ask for an early ticket pick up - you should get a positive answer and take the written response with you.0 -
We are looking to hire a car for the second week of our holiday, and wonder if there are any recommendations, and how much to expect to pay? We have just searched lots of companies for car hire for when we go in august, and it is amazing how much difference there is between car hire companies for the same thing. We got quote from the main US co dollar, alamo, avis etc for an Intermediate SUV for 4 of us and the prices ranged from almost £700 for 2 weeks down to £300ish for the same spec inc insurance etc.
In the end we have gone with budget car rental, but through the uk site, as opposed to the US site because booking it through the UK site was cheaper, so we are paying about £360 for the 2 weeks. We also went through Quidco to get money back from the booking so am expecting £30 cash back.
This is what we have done, and it may not be for you, but make sure you do plenty of research before you book, as there are bargains to be had.
HTH2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Having trouble getting flights to Orlando for October half term week. Guess I left it too late. Does anyone know if the drive from Tampa to Orlando is an easy one (at the end of a long flight)?
Thanks.
We usually get a flight into Miami as it is cheaper than a flight to Orlando - the journey is very straight forward. It is about 4 hours or so, but mostly a straight road! Dead easy - honest.0 -

the drive from tampa is fairly straight forward 1.5 hours or so.
miami is also an option easy drive just 3.5-4 hours.
the tampa and miami flights can work out cheaper than orlando and are less busy.0 -
