It's about 15 dollars for under 10s and roughly double for 10 and older - be sure to book in advance to get a slot!

You can check www.allearsnet.com for up to date pricing, and I'm sure a few of us on here would be happy to chip in with which ones are our favourites :)

    What characters are their faves?

Crystal Palace in magic Kingdom is great for children who love winnie Pooh and friends. Garden Grill in Epcot for Chip n Dale and Mickey. Chef Mickeys in the comtemporary hotel has Mickey, Minnie, Donald and more. My daughter's favourite is Ohanas restaurant where they have a character breakfast with Lilo and Stitch plus Mickey.

    And lots more

Sorry still learning how to post on the forum :o. The hotel I have chosen is the Lake Bueana Vista village resort and spa, through expedia. I really want a 2 bed, I think all of us in 1 room could be a little small. As I have never visited before I could be completely wrong. Thanks for your reply

Hi sidney1, We're staying in this resort in January, when are you going?:j

We're thinking of hiring a car for a few days. I know all the debate about not using the free shuttle service but I think with January being a quiet time of year this could work for us as i'm like a mad woman with the planning and itenery for everything. Thought about hiring a car for a few days just for things that are further afield and shopping at the walmart.

Thanks Delwyn for sorting out our holiday at a great price.

Does anyone know how much taxis are in Florida? We're going to the parks in June and have booked a car but we're celebrating a BIG birthday whilst there so would like to go out for a drink and not have to drive back.

    Thanks

Thanks for this, I've got the idea where to start looking now)

We were in Disneyland Paris for 1 day last month and we all were completely knackered by the end of the day, and that's without the heat. Would really like to do something else there - go to Miami, possibly Bahamas.

We love either Captiva Island or Marco Island for a complete change of pace after the parks. Laid back almost Carribbean feel to the islands. Anna Maria island is lovely too.

We are *thinking* about going back to Florida next year but it would have to be either July or August.....any ideas for cheap flights or what flight prices are likely to be at that time?
  • www.USrentacar.co.uk Currently offering free additional driver and upgrade when you book a Budget rental car.

I just booked an intermediate car, with 2 drivers for 3 weeks for £363. Only thing I don't get is a free tank of fuel. But at the price of gas in Florida a full tank is only about £15 anyway.

Same car with 2 drivers with Virgin Atlantic is £565.......

We have just come back from the Lake Buena Vista Village Resort and Spa and I couldn't fault it. Lovely apartments, plenty of room, well maintained. Great location with Disney only 10 mins and Universal about 25 via the scenic route through Dr Phillips. Theres an outlet mall and a nice little pub next door and a Walmart and Publix 5 minutes further up the same road. You really do need a car tho and everyone had one. The shuttles almost non existent, perhaps two a day, booked in advance and only to a couple of parks.

The other way to look at it is to consider how much the car plus insurance and petrol and parking ($15 a park) would cost and then use that for taxis. Probably wouldn't be much different but you might find you were hanging around a bit more.

    Need help please,

Driving in Florida in August?, We have booked a luxury villa in kissemee, so I will have a fair bit of driving to do, I'm slightly panicking as there's something about being allowed to do a right turn on a redlight?

Any tips? aids anyone can suggest? I'm a confident driver and have been driving for years over here with no hassle, motorways, dark etc I have no issue with, Just the thought of a American 6/7 seater, driving in other side etc has given me slight cause for conern.

    Thanks x
