You bet! Looking forward to seeing the new, but can't miss a little Orlando fix.0 -
Hi, I am about to book my first trip to orlando, I think I have found a good deal, the only problem is is that the hotel is in Buena vista and my dh and I really really don't fancy driving, can we still get around the parks without a car? We are a family of 5. ThanksVal0

Depends which hotel to be honest, Lake Buena Vista is quite a wise area!
It will almost certainly be possible, but there may be better choices for non drivers. To be honest, the hotel is normally the easy and cheap part, as there are so many hotels in Orlando competing for the tourist dollar, it is the flights that are the problem.
Which hotel is it?0 -
Sorry still learning how to post on the forum
. The hotel I have chosen is the Lake Bueana Vista village resort and spa, through expedia. I really want a 2 bed, I think all of us in 1 room could be a little small. As I have never visited before I could be completely wrong. Thanks for your reply

If it is the one I think it is then you would struggle with no car, unless there are shuttles to the parks, it's actually in a perfect spot - very close to all the main attractions but not by walking. Id not want to rely on public transport from there either, as I suspect it will be limited (though could be wrong)
I would definitely get the car.0 -

It's about 15 dollars for under 10s and roughly double for 10 and older - be sure to book in advance to get a slot!
You can check https://www.allearsnet.com for up to date pricing, and I'm sure a few of us on here would be happy to chip in with which ones are our favourites0 -
would you advise orlando for a couple, or should we wait a few years till we have kids to take?
also how long do you think is enough time to go to all the major parks and not die of exhaustion. also have a bit of time to relax.
was thinking of going to NY for 5 days, then flying to MCO and having a week there and then 2/3 days in Miami?
We first went as a couple before having our daughter. We loved it, just as much as going with DD since (if not more).
