We have been in Feb before, coming home in the Half Term and it was quiet when we was there. Chilly but bearable - the same as the latter week of November we were there. We found the weekends busy - there was a boxing tournament on at the Convention Centre and a lot of the boxers and their families were staying in our hotel. Don King was there but we never saw him. It was only the Radisson too, nothing special. but it was busy while they were were. I can find out the exact dates of Spring Break but I thought it was mid March..... I've been told to avoid Spring Break so I would not really consider Easter.
I think you might be thinking of the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse which you are right is only for UC passengers (and possibly the super frequent flyer Gold card holders, not sure though).
The No 1 Lounge is definitely available to those of us not travelling upper (or even VA), and there is a fee. IIRC I paid about £15 each, but we ate and drank enough to make it worthwhile. It is a nice oasis. It's not as nice as the V Room from a kid's perspective though.
If you came home at February half term you missed the crowds I suspect. The Touring Plans calandar had the levels at 2/3/4 the week before we arrived, going up to 9 and beyond when we did. But it's not the UK half term that impacts the crowds, it is US Spring Break (in February, honestlythough it does vary across different regions)

Anyone can book the Lounge (clubhouse) it costs £60 per person but the facilities are fab, the Vroom is more for familys and holiday makers, the club house is designed for business travellers and adults really its fab though!!

Well, looks like we probably are off to Florida on a Fly Drive in Feb 2012. And this time - after all I have said about having a car, we are going to be DRIVING!! Price being right of course.
Hubby is ill at the moment (had another op yesterday) so cannot sit down to sort everything out probably but we have had snatched conversarions about it.
Price online is £2396 for a Fly Drive with 4 seater mini van and it means I can get into the V-room as it is with VH.
This is turning out to be an expensive hobby. Going to DLP in June as well - we are now shareholders there, LOL. The kids are only young once though, once they get older they'll not want to experience all of the parks, it'll just be for the fast rides so I want to cram as much in as I can. of course, once they have left home it'll be cheaper and we can do and see what we want. LOL.0 -
