That is my experience also in the brief time that I have been looking.

flight only appears to be around the £800 pp and then accomodation, car & tickets seperately.

I must be doing something wrong looking for twin centres as on the Virgin site it came back with "We offer a total of 0 Twin Centres/Multi Centres in Florida.".

Any other suggestions for places to look for twin centre holidays?

They tend to class twin centre as different cities, eg a week in NY followed by a week in Las Vegas etc.

On Virgin Holidays website, you can do a 'tailor made' holiday - try going to the multi-centre tab, put in 2 stops, 21 nights, your dates, then it will take you to pages to select flights, and the places where you want to stay and give you accomodation options.
I've used this loads of times with no problems.

    Hi all,
me and my boyfriend (both aged 18) are wanting to book a holiday to florida in the next couple of days. after weeks of looking at flights and hotels im still not sure what to go for.
we want to fly from any north west airport, anytime in april for 10/14 days. we would prefer to be there on the 17th as this is his birthday, but it's not a must.
we want a cheap clean hotel (just a bed to sleep in really) with complimentary transport to disney and universal.
i want to find flights and hotels for around 1200 for both of us
    is this possible?

    thankyou!

Hi. Can anyone advise for/against Xmas and New Year 2011/12 in Orlando please? Our first visit was perfect in Sept 2005, not been back since. Think we were really spoilt!

Is it busy at Christmas with UK and American tourists? Last time we stayed in a villa with car hire. This time round the Dad in Law doesn't fancy the driving so we've said we'd look @ hotels in the I-Drive area and a hotel with shuttle buses or the I-trolley thing I've heard about. Are airport transfers often included in packages or would we better with car hire despite staying on I-Drive? It will be 5 adults travelling, no kids so we thought I-Drive would be better as we could eat out and have a few drinks at night (something we couldn't really do last time with being far away in a villa).

Best price so far was with total Florida £4795 (18/12/11 - 01/01/12 Springhill Suites with 7 seater minivan & car insurance), or same flights and car with a villa in West Haven for same price. Have used all the helpful info on the MSE site to check for separate flights and accom but not much luck, esp with flights! Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

We did our 1st christmas trip last year 19th Dec to 1st Jan (we always used to do 7th Dec to 21st Dec) and OMG it was the busiest I have ever seen it..we also go in August. The parks were basically in a phase 3 shutdown by 10am. Queues for rides were 4 hrs long, fastpassess run out by 11am, the roads into the malls and parks were carparks.
The weather was below average..we spent the day at Seaworld and it was -2 lol..it was cold the year before but omg.

That said we are going again for xmas this year but we are going 9th Dec until 1st Jan and fully intend avoiding the parks from the 22nd onwards.

End of April, but direct from Manchester

Adult Price £449.00 Thu, 28 Apr 11 11:25 Depart Manchester (MAN)
Flight TCX 414 16:05 Arrive Sanford (SFB)

Thu, 12 May 11 17:15 Depart Sanford (SFB)
Flight TCX 415 06:35 Arrive Manchester (MAN)

    Fly Thomas Cook

Thomas cook add meals and pre- bookable seats etc. to the base price though, but if you are just happy to get there as cheaply as possible, then you would have a possible £300 left from your £1200 budget for basic accommodation.

Don't forget you would also need a taxi from Sanford - I'd budget at least $300 return from Sanford to ID, it is much further than Orlando international and transport might be an issue if not booking a package and getting a transfer. At 18 neither of them would be able to drive.

Don't forget you need to tip 15-20%:

Damn! Forgot that! :rotfl: You are right of course, so used to driving, didn't occur to me. Oh well, I tried.

In fact I have booked on that flight myself, but got premium upgrade which covered all those extras. Not my favourite airline, but cheap flights not easy to come by these days!
