Orlando/Disneyworld Thread (Part 3)

Looking for a bit of assistance, regarding hire car size.

Wondering what the smallest car that would be suitable for 2 adults and 2 children (10 & 7) alomg with three suitcases, one largish, two small plus hand luggage.

Only really require the space for the drive to & from airport, so if it is a squeeze, does not really matter.

Would a compact be OK or what would you recommend?

You might just get away with a car that size, but could be a bit stuffed if you buy lots of lovely cheap things while you're over there and bring back extra luggage. We tend to hire a compact when we go and its fine for just the two of us. We can get two big wheely duffles in the back along with hand luggage, but whenever we've gone to a third large duffle we've had to put it on the back seat. Some of this depends on models as some have bigger boots than others. On the whole, American cars have suprisingly small boots. You may also be able to get a hatchback (suprisingly uncommon in the US) which has a bit more space. I guess it all comes down to how big "big" is and how small "small" is. Sorry!

Need to buy Universal tickets, and want to pay for them today, and have the tickets delivered to my house Although not going until June, just need to pay for them today...
Any online firms i should stay away from ? I know Virgin holidays sell the tickets but appear to cost lots, but are there any benefits to buying theres ?
Looking to spend say £165 each for 2 adults, be handy to get into the 2 uni parks, wet & wild and possibly seaworld or Busch Gardens.......
Just prefer to buy from a british agent... any tips ?

you will find british agents are slightly more expensive than US ones,

quick check on http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/orlando-flexticket/index.htm it is £348.

on http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/orlando_flex_tickets.htm price is £319 including postage,or you could take $12 off that and pick up when over there.

prices are for the 5 day flex tickets so no busch gardens the 6 day is about £25 per ticket more expensive.

i can recommend maple leaf used them for my disney tickets they arrived 5 days after ordering.

one to thing ask:
If i bought a Orlando Flex ticket, it says i have 14 unlimited access to 5 parks...
Does that mean if i wanted, in the same week, i could goto Islands of adventure 3 times if i wanted ????
If so, theres the other ticket which is the 3 park ticket (universal x2, and Wet & Wild), that states unlimited access for upto 14 days......
Is that the same thing ? i could goto the same park for 3 or 4 days even if i wanted ??

hey guys

off to florida in march and need a bit of help! lol! been before but again wanting to go to disney, universal poss seaworld and a waterpark and trying to get my head around the minefield that is ordering tickets! lol! we are wanting to hit the beach and the shops (of course) also whilst we are there so wont be at the parks all the time.

does anyone know where the cheapest place to buy tickets is and what would be the best one for our requirements?

the tickets are valid for 14 consecutive days from first use and you are able to access the parks the ticket is valid for as many times as you like in that 14 day period,this includes going to more than one park in a day and in and out as many times as you wish in any one day.

it all depends how many days of your stay you are wanting to visit the various parks.
how many days do you invisage spending in disney parks? and same question the parks that flex ticket is used for?

most of the ticket selling websites are similar costs with the US ones slightly cheaper,have a look at the links i posted above for info.
