If you know the owners name and , or the address you can go on the county appraisers site.

e.g. If the home is in Davenport, Polk County

FloFlo - Thanks for this link. Gives me a bit more assurance about the villa we've booked and that I've sent our deposit to the genuine owner. (First time we've booked directly with owner, so a bit nervous).
  • I paid £345 for 21st-28th Dec 09.
    :j I hope my comment helps :T

Wow, that sounds a really good price for such a premium week. Well done!
There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.

What "start date" do they have on if you don't mind me asking? Am still worried that mine have a start date later than when I want to use them.

My start date says the 22nd August, which is the day we set off.

Flipping heck, talk about being an idiot. I never checked the pick up time on my car rental, and although the plane gets into Orlando at 23.55 on Saturday 22nd, the pick up time was 23.55 on Sunday 23rd!!

Luckily I was reading through everything today and I've managed to change it at an additional cost. I had visions of sitting in the airport for a day waiting for the car to be ready.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao
