Not a con at all. Nowhere in his listings does it say that it is one of the 2008 undated coins.

Buyers get exactly what they paid for. A 20p which is undated on the head side. Just because they are stupid and greedy does not make it a con.

This guy is a scammer, but he relies heavily on peoples ignorance and stupidity.

what he is doing in a way is exposing how people do not read listings then wonder why they didn't get what they thought they were getting.

I mean the listing only has about 5 or 6 lines and it clearly states, no date on head side, i will refund if date can be found on head side only, does this not make these people think...hmmm, why will he only refund if date can be found on head side?







Because there is a date on the other side you idiot!!!

They do deserve what they get but the guy should still be stopped, it's cruelty to idiots if nothing else.

Yes, the stupid, greedy people get what they deserve. We can all see that this was a con from the get go and so should ebay so surely action should be taken. People are blinded by the possibility of making a quick buck, though.

However, the title of the listing does clearly say "undated 20p", which it isn't (not that you'd only read the title when buying, of course) but surely the fact that the title says that it should be undated would give his buyers the right to open an "item not as described" complaint.

But then they were only £1.40 each, so most would probably put it down to experience and forget about it...

Yes, he's having a laugh and it shows good humour that some people once they realised still gave good feedback (or maybe they still haven't realised!!).

If the ebayer in question wants to ruin their feedback rating let them go ahead.

It's for this kind of reason that stupid people shouldn't be allowed on ebay. If you don't spend the time researching what you're buying you deserve everything you get. Good luck to the seller, I say.
