    Hi Noahs Penniless Mummy,
Been lurking around for a while but have not posted until now. I have terrible migraines which have got progressively worse over the past year. I take Triptans about 3 times a week as I currently get 4-5 migraines a week. However beware of using Triptans more that 3 times a week as they can have a rebound headache effect...so you get a headache if you overuse them. I keep a diary of possible triggers and lack of sleep, hunger are possibles. I also take a prventative med daily which works well for some people.

I totally empathise with you...the World Health Organisation considers migraine to be in top 20 chronically disabling conditions.

    Good luck
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

hilstep, just wanted to say how very sorry I am to read your sad news. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

tired mum, I'm the absolute worst at speed reading, then reading someone's comment to a poster and having to back track :o Thanks everyone for your good wishes for DS. He felt so well this afternoon he went for a bike ride. Phoned about an hour or so ago, he's now knackered and going to bed early  I did warn him, but what do I know:D

When I got back I made a lovely fish pie with the haddock DH found very cheap in Morrisons. The best bit is there was over half left, and DH begged me not to freeze the leftovers, but to have it again for tomorrow's dinner:D So a few minutes preparing and cooking veggies and dinner will be done, suits me ;)
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
