(((((((NPM))))))) - Please stop feeling guilty about getting ready made meals. Which is most important? Being able to meet the needs of your son or driving yourself to exhaustion (and migraines) from trying to do it all. None of us are wonder women. Part of being OS to me is using what works best for me and my situation. Besides, we're only looking at 6 weeks out of the 52 in the year. Save you energy and sanity for the things that really matter hun.
my mum used to swear by lots of water, (i'm still not convinced it wasn't gin, it was so effective...)
FE - Prayers and good thoughts being sent for a good result from your scan.
ThriftLady - Hoping you have a lovely holiday. It sounds so relaxing.

Halight - I hope you have a wonderful time at the zoo with the girls today. It always seems to take me much longer to recover from lack of sleep than it did to get that tired in the first place. Hope you can continue to get some early bedtimes and later waking times.
Today is tiling the kitchen in Flat 2. I keep hearing it's not that hard so I'm hoping that's true. I've read and watched lots of articles and videos on how to do it. After that I'll finish the bathroom wall. I'd like to get the bathroom painted also as they're coming to put the lino down tomorrow.
After yesterday's day off from the DIY, I have a bit extra to do today. I got the groceries in last night so will be doing some batch cooking today. Cottage pie, spag sauce, lasagna and carrot and coriander soup. I have a whole chicken to do also and will put it on low in the SC tonight before bed. I'm using the SC today for my sauce.
I need to pop a load of washing in this afternoon. I'll wait to put in on the airers til bedtime tho so it's not in the way this evening.
Hoping everyone has a good day. Lots of (((((((GentleHugs)))))))) here for all. Leaving you with one of my favourite quotes...

Just in the middle of tackling the ironing:rolleyes:what joy!
Thank you all for your kind thoughts re my lack of OSing during the 6 weeks hols.....I am not really on about ready meals as such as they are bleurgh....more like buying whole breast chicken kiev and breaded cod fillets instead of making them from scratch as I would normally do...I guess it is not that bad:D
I ordered some games DS may like from Amazon yesterday so we will have a variety of them to do.....it is difficult as he doesnt understand a lot of logic in games....eg connect 4 he cannot play it as he just gets angry if you block his counters;)...hmmmmm yes thats the point of the game:rolleyes:
Bitsy don`t feel guilty about a whinge...getting up at that time is awful whether your child has autism or not and even if it is just once or twice a month..it is still awful:o
I bet you were not dancing to " don`t stop till you get enough" at 7am though so beat you there;)..he was singing it himself in the kitchen at 6am and dancing doing some "ooooh`s" ( no hee hees this time....MJ wasnt hee heeing at that stage:D)
Mrs Moneypenny he has blackout curtains up....I think it is just his autism as it happens all year round...he never slept more than an hour or so at once night or day as a baby so things have improved:p:o....oH says he will sleep in as a teenager but I am not so sure.
Thriftlady have a great hol.....I take cookbooks with me too:o Nigel is good for quick meals involving meat or fish or even ideas for cheese plates with all that gorgeous cheese
FE once again will be keeping everything crossed for you both and please let it be good news
right the ironing is calling:rotfl:
forgot to say...the migraines were getting less frequent but they have crippled me this week..however I started my period this morning and maybe that has something to do with it....I know hormones can affect migraines...I hope this doesnt mean I am going to have them all week once a month.0 -

Maybe it's the heat and things will settle down - gentle hug - you are doing brilliantly if you feel chicken kievs and breaded fish are a cheat :T
DH drove me to big Sainsbury yesterday so freezer is now full and have fruit and veg.
Someone is coming to take new photos of the house this afternoon so fingers crossed that it helps.
Looks like the couple who took along a builder for their second viewing are not going to make an offer.Might make sweet potato burgers with salad tonight"This site is addictive!"

Just checking my mails whilst I chuff some baby carrots :T I could live on these forever, I just adore raw carrot
Have inspected the broccoli and caulis and can't see any caterpillars yet but will keep them peeled. I have two lovely heads of cauliflower coming along nicely and just cut another head of broccoli. Tomatoes look a bit yellow, think they need a feed which thankfully my mum has. Must go and prune the sweet peas. I haven't been picking the flowers and they are all going to seed now
Finished off baking some biscuits for the kids instead of buying those Organix ones. Am sure they'll go down a treat no doubt.
Got another load of washing to hang out and could really do with pushing duster round etc but just can't be bothered
NPM - your DS and his MJ singing etc is making me smile. Think of it this way at least it's MJ and not something like Steps
Thriftlady - :rotfl: @ La Dame d'Economie. Your holiday sounds like bliss. Can I carry your bag for you
Halight - Enjoy the zooI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning all....should be hoovering and dusting and generally clearing up for the visitors I have coming this afternoon...will get there eventually. Dinner will be beef casserole so can be done anytime so that there is lots of time for it to cook slowly in the oven.
Sunny here to-day, hope that it lasts.
Hugs to all in need or want, be back later
