Hey Hezybaby,
Sounds like your doing well, I have £250 this month to pay for a scuba course, and I need to take my car in, plus £83 at the dentist with another £40 to go before the end of the month!! ooh and a £200 plane ticket to see my OH in newcastle...... I feel sometimes like I will never climb out of this hole!
I spend about £80 p/m on food, I make all my food from scratch which really helps.
As long as the debt moves down, its all good... it's the right direction... sadly mine seems to be going in the wrong direction1 debt vs 100 days part 6-11total paid £8,135.86 Final Debt [STRIKE]6,948.61[/STRIKE] £3,174.940 -
Hey Dex!!! I hear ya!!! Im hoping this gets better... surely all the sleepless nights doing maths means its getting better....SURELY!
Once i see those figures go down i will start to feel better but as it stands im seeing nothing!!! Kind of soul destroying really!!! The only thing i have done is not put any more money on CC's... but im seeing that as a very big POSITIVE as ive spent the last year factoring in easily about 300 quid each month on a CC!!!
Ive started cooking alot from scratch and just having simple meals! But my OH is away just now so ill see if this sticks when hes back!!! x0 -
Hey me,
It's offical... I've hit rock bottom... for many reasons and not just debt... on the brightside this is not due to any health issues etc with loved ones... so I know things aren't really rock bottom... but that aside.... I'm almost certain things probably couldn't get any worse...
Anyone else want a kick whilst im down?!?! I'm pretty numb right now so I won't feel it anyway...
(Life 1 V Betty 0)
On that cheery note night night x0 -

Hey,
Don't let life get you down, it will get better... this will be a rollercoaster of ups and downs but that is why you post on this forum, to get support from people who know how your feeling.
Some people, I am not one of them can go without everything and pay their debts, getting rid of them quicker... I would love to be able to do this but I am not that good at sacrifice, If I were I probably wouldn't be in this debt in the first place
Give yourself a break, take a deep breath and relax....1 debt vs 100 days part 6-11total paid £8,135.86 Final Debt [STRIKE]6,948.61[/STRIKE] £3,174.940 -

I've dragged myself kicking and screaming back from the darkside... I won't lie... it wasn't pretty...
Not been the best week (well nearly a week) as I was feeling sorry for myself...for many reasons... but do you know what I realised yesterday... feeling sorry for myself gets me NOWHERE! :wall:
So im back on track... :T and I know I shouldn't but I was hungry so I bought the baked potato today...no can of juice though...so a small victory on my part...but debt ultimately won today...but there's always tomorrow so its OKAY!!!

Hi Dex! :hello:
Yeh I was ready for giving up as just felt so down... but for what to be in the exact same situation in 6 months time or worse!!!
I cleared my Barclay card balance! So now just waiting on the replacement card (from the one I chopped up) to do the balance transfers... I am slowly but surely getting somewhere! I’m sticking (ish) to my budget and I’m religiously using the Spending Diary to keep a record of where my dosh is going other than debt!
This is a rollercoaster all right!!! Mines is just a slow one... like the kids use!0 -
Hezybaby just read through your entire diary and wanted to say good on you!!!
Don't beat yourself up if you slip and buy the occasional jacket spud just think back to a few months ago and how often you would have bought jacket spuds/starbucks etc thena and you will see how far you have come.
Keep on venting on here and I for one will be back regularly to see how you are getting on!;):o:rolleyes:;):o:o:cool:
