    hugs BZ.

I never thought to ask for something to stop AF. I'm hoping ov stays away a bit as my LP is a pretty reliable 14 days, and it would be good if it didn't arrive when I was in hospital. I'm in hospital on Monday week - until Saturday... so if ov can hold off until saturday this week that would be good.

But god knows what it will be like next time. Last week was very odd - lots of blood, but then it just suddenly stopped. I think the smaller cervical operation in December has already changed things, but I'm also on blood thinners so it could be that.

Anyway, not a lot I can do now.

Ov is a pain in the neck, as I have found today and yesterday really hard emotionallly. I'm back to crying on buses! I thought I was past that... just suddenly feeling so sad, and lonely, and like nothing good will ever happen. I hate this, and i think I hate people trying to artificially cheer me up. I've got two people around tonight, and I have to be cheery strong cancer chick, when I just want to have a [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] glass of red wine and chocolate [STRIKE]and a cry[/STRIKE] in bed.

Is it just from a 'don't fancy dealing with a period in hospital' or are you worried about the treatment? When I had treatment on my cervix (I know yours is a bit more heavy duty than what I had) they said that it didn't matter at all if you were having a period.

I'm not surprised you feel lonely. Illness is lonely, because ultimately you're facing it alone. No matter how much people support you, they can't be you. You will have good days and bad days. Today's just not a good day. Tomorrow might yet be. We are all thinking of you, sweetheart.

Thanks t2d, firstly for your reply (definitely looking into private SA now) and secondly for replying when you have much more important things on your mind. Love to you, I have no words or advice but I think of you often xxx

Can't remember who asked but it is our first FS appt and I've already had swabs, bloods and an external & internal scan where I was diagnosed with PCOS.

BZ thank you for that info. I know the FS (having seen him before for other gynae issues) and know he is very good.

Wise ladies of this thread, this is my second month of clomid, my Cbfm is on a happy high since yesterday, the cb ov predictors show happy faces since Tuesday, yet I'm experiencing a lot of discomfort and pain/spasms as I get when af is in town, like period pains. Is this normal?!

Beware of opks and cbfm readings when on clomid - they're less reliable. Mine have been useless the last 2 cycles. I'm also of the opinion that pretty much everything unusual is 'normal' on clomid

Where are you in your cycle? Did you have a monitored first cycle?

    Ditto what BZ said.

Good luck VK today, and also MrsH, thinking of you - I can imagine you are wearing out your fingers and toes from crossing them!

BZ, I don't see a CD1 from you yet... are you still in?

AFM - good news today, Lymph nodes show no signs of disease. I shoudl be pleased shouldn't I? But still feeling a little flat - I'm definitely near ov as this moody weepiness is always a good sign.

    Anyway, more here.

Not being monitored. Thanks for that ladies. I'm on CD18 out of a 32 day cycle so I'm inclined to say they are both correct.
Pain is slowly going away but was a bit confused by it.
    Thanks!
