I won, I won, I won! I've been Money Tipped!
welcome newbies, hope your stay is short :)

juju, glad test results came back good and good luck with FET :)

i have had the phone call, all 8 embies still going, 6 very strong ones and 2 lagging slightly behind, embryologist wants to go to blastocyst as he said it would give us a much better chance and the 6 stong ones are identical at this point and he said he likes to go to blasto if there are 3 or more of that quality at day 3, the downside is he cannot gaurantee what will happen and if there will be any left to freeze, but we have decided to go for it :) i had a sleepless night last night and i feel i have 2 more to come, but as oh says we can't change what is going to happen, we have had day 4 transfers before but this embryologist says he never has and never will do day 4 transfers as it is not a good day as the embryos are in transition, so i guess we will have to wait and see

Hello to all the newbies. Anyone in the 2WW at the moment? Am driving myself slightly nuts, which I haven';t done for ages. Have been reading on another forum that the steroids i have to take sometimes make your Ov date later, making your luteal phase too short, which seems to be happening to me - only by a day or so, but I always had quite a short luteal phase anyway. Bah. So now I'm worried that these meds which were going to be my saviour are just going to add another layer of problems. Am seeing Dr S on Monday so will ask him then I suppose.

Runnerduck - 6 strong embies is great, it is understandable that you are struggling to sleep but it is all sounding positive.

2b - maybe donor leaving means you feel like it was time for a change too and that is why you don't feel too bad about it. Glad your month off made you feel more relaxed, it is good to take a break sometimes from poas!

Tealover - welcome to the thread, hope your appointment with fs goes well.

Sarah - I am in 2ww and so far feel more relaxed than I have done at this stage for ages but sure that will change the closer I get to af due date! Think we all worry about different things all the time as we are so desperate to find a reason why it's not working for us. Try not to panic but definitely ask dr s next week.

    hi

thanks, yes, I have just lost the weight I needed to get Clomid as it appears I was not ovulating, I was in hospital in August 2010, with either a very heavy period or miscarriage (not sure) had major problems with periods from that point until Feb last year. Went to the doctor and got refered to the clinic at hospital. All my hormones tests were low, I saw the hospital in the summer and I was told then that they do not give clomid to anyone with a bmi over 35 and I was sitting at 40. Now it is sitting at 35 was just on the point of phoning them for it. Think the HSG gave a good blast of things! My father in law also fell in the summer last year and now it is full blown leukemia, he does not have long so it is a bit of a bitter sweet moment. OH is stunned, called him and asked if he had a plans for the new year:p (when confirmed could be due new years day!:rotfl:) and then told him the news, both of us are just walking about in a daze even though this is what we were hoping for.
