Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you all know i had my early scan today and all is well so far. I am now 8 weeks pregnant ( following our icsi as you might remember). I hope it's ok to post this, i just wanted to remind everyone that miracles do happen.
I'm still not sure I feel ready to move on to the next thread, currently lurking between there and here.
Anyway, i don't know if i'll post again but I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the words of support and encouragement you guys have given me in recent months. I am thinking of and praying for all of you to get your miracle too xx0 -
Thanks juicy, glad everything is going well. Keep us posted. I hope a miracle does happen soon. xBEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0

Hi all, here I am yet again asking for more advice. I annoy even myself having to ask questions all the time, so I do apologise
I posted on Monday that I had a fully positive result from the ovulation stick, tested Tuesday and it was a lot lighter. Informed the clinic that I had ovulated and they said to start the HRT drugs next Monday. No idea why, just to be sure really, but I did another test Wednesday. Full blown positive result again. ???
Called clinic to ask what to do about this. Nurse said no idea why it happened, that it didnt really matter, just take the Wednesday one as positive and start drugs next Weds instead. Seems a bit strange to me that I could have 2 positive results in one ovulation period and they were very vague about it at clinic.
Anyone know what on earth my body is doing?!?!
Thanks so much in advance, tried googling it but just confused myself further:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
Sounds like you geared up to ovulate on Monday but for some reason your body didn't let go of the egg, so it had another go on Wednesday. This happens more often than you might think particularly if you have PCOS or slightly wacky hormone levels (sorry can't remember if this does apply to you). The OPKs only measure that there is enough LH to trigger ovulation in your system but not that it has worked. It's like when you switch the gas hob on and press ignite. Sometimes you fire first time, sometimes you have to click the button more than once
. The best way to confirm ovulation at home is to combine OPKs and temping, or have a medically monitored cycle with ultrasound scans every other day and blood tests, but this is expensive.

Hi everyone. Since my first post I've been a bit freaked out by it all. I'm such a worrier that there was no way I was ever going to enjoy this!
I didn't really take the time to congratulate anyone else but I'm thoroughly thrilled there are others in the same boat as me - particularly sexki11en as we're so close in dates and we have the same scan date (14th Nov)!
I'm also hoping for a bit of reassurance. Since Monday I've been spotting quite a bit of very dark brown mucous. There's no cramping and no red blood but it's there every time I wipe (and gets mixed up in all that pessary gunk so it looks yuck!). I had an hCG test on Tuesday which showed my levels had risen really well (they should have been 1300ish based on my first test but were 2700).
So I'm guessing that the hormone test was good and I should not worry about the brown spotting. It's a nightmare trying not to worry"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

I had the same brown mucous spotting - I think its perfectly normal with all the extra hormones you've recently taken, and the pessary "residue" probably make it look like theres more than there actually is.
I Think Having fertility Treatment tends to make you much more body aware (and paranoid) than a natural conception.
Believe me,over the next few weeks you'll spend as much time "knicker checking" as thinking up nursery colour schemes......0 -

hi all, have not been posting much lately as was trying not to think too much about ttc, anyway i am now gearing up for next treatment, i had my first Accupuncture session on weds, it was quite strange, i don't know if it will help but i feel it is something positive to try.
glad everything is going well for you juicy x
juju, hope you have a great time at your up and coming vegas wedding xx0 -
Thanks Runner, go next Thursday and get married on Monday 7th, but I will still be checking everyones progress while I'm away. Good luck with your next cycle, fingers crossed for you. I find the acupunture helps but the lady I normally have is moving to New Zealand (Boo!) and I am very upset as I got on so well with her and she told me more than the Drs every did. I just hope the replacement is just as nice. I'm trying not think about it to much yet not till after the Vegas Wedding.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0
