Thanks for all the crossed fingers.

It was a strange feeling, as there was nothing you could see at first, only the control line, and then the second line appeared... I am getting some AF type cramps today, but I hope all goes well.

I think I better get out of the house for a bit, as a short walk would do me good, I expect.

OHSS (as far as my non medical but highly experienced knowledge of IVF goes!) can not give a false positive, only some drugs and Pregnancy can do that.
OHSS is likely to occur and get worse (sorry!!) as the HCG in your system rises (so be prepared to feel worse) but that is a good thing as it means your levels are going up.
With me and QQ (I think i'm correct) our OHSS arrived but then improved quite quickly as there was no HCG to aggravate it.

I know things can change and things do happen but I will say right now you are pregnant.
as soon as you said you had late onset OHSS I really thought you were.

Well, my OHSS is getting better. I am a bit less bloated, I could actually have a meal without screaming with pain afterwards as well. I am taking it easy, and I am not doing any work, although I said I might look at work if I feel well enough. But really, I just want to relax and give it the best shot. I have been signed out for a week, which would mean until Tuesday, but I think I might be going back to the office on Monday.

Have an appointment with the hairdresser tomorrow, so it will be a small treat for me. Apart from the sushi (no raw fish) I stocked up today and Sainsbury's, and olives, and anchovies, and even the eclairs... Ok, it is the first day I can eat normally (almost), so I want eveything!

You are right.
Gin, your OHSS may get worse, I remember eating just eggs when it was bad, but anything is worth a baby in my opinion, good luck:o

I just screamed when I read that and DH now thinks i'm a banshee or mad (or both!)

Everything crossed tightly here for you.

So I had my first scan today and unlike last time when there were 2 okish and one smaller follie, today I had.....wait for it..... one at 16mm, 6 at between 11&13mm and one other possible hiding in there (that I pointed out to the nurse lol) Much better result, i'm really pleased with these results. Scan again on Friday then EC Mon hopefully.
