    She's doing fine thanks. She has been spotting and bleeding heavily since around week 5. She had some tests done last week and it's either a problem with the womb lining or polyps. They believe it's most likely to be polyps, which should be fine - apart from the risk of infection. We have the 12 week scan on the 9th June which is a big milestone. Apart from the bleeding everything else has been fine.

    I still can't believe that she is pregnant. After 9 years of trying and one dismal ICSI result where none of the eggs fertilised, it just appeared that it wasn't meant to be. As it turns out, she fell pregnant naturally just a few days before she started the down regulation injections for the second IVF attempt. Hopefully all of the injections won't harm to the baby.

    Even though we're both over the moon over the pregnancy, we are both holding back our emotions quite a bit so we don't get too excited. Even though we want to shout it from the roof tops, there are always those dark thoughts in the back of your mind of what could happen.

    I just hope it all works out for everyone on this board as everyone deserves it.

    Toni, you didnt have any injections containing HCG, did you - therefore any positive is a positive and you are pregnant. I cant imagine that it will change before Thursday. I think if you check a normal pregnance implants 7 to 10 days after fertilisation - so for you 2 - 5 days. After that your hcg level will double daily (I think) to that line should get stronger and stronger. It certainly is very positive and I will stay really positive that you will get a stronger line on Thursday, or if you test earlier. As for the slight discharge, dont worry, it is extremely common, in fact I think most pregnancies get it at some point. When I had DS, I had a scan at 8 weeks as I was bleeding slightly. He is 8 now!!!

    Toniq - congratulations! It's a BFP!

    Light, pinkish or brown discharge - and even a small amount of red - is normal and nothing to worry about (it won't stop you worrying though!)

    When I was pg, I had pinkish discharge from the start until about week 9. There was never a problem, even though I panicked constantly.

    +++++++++

    The panicking you get in pregnancy is just practice for all the panicking you'll get to do when you're a parent to your little one (or two?)
