Murray - enjoy the new car when you get it hopefully there won't be too many AF pressies to yourself as it can get expensive :)

Chickpea - perhaps going will cheer you up especially if you have some good friends round you. How long have you been trying now?

CCM - Can't watch OBEM as giving birth scares the hell out of me but not as much as not get a BFP.

I don't let myself get too down about it all. Its life, yes its crap and we are dealing with the same things so it helps to talk. The only time I really cry is when I have a BFN and that normally last for a few days, after that I pick myself up have a little holiday and get back in the saddle again.

I think I am on my 4th year trying to conceive now but I have lost count. All my close friends are pregnant or have small children but I am fine around them, sometimes they find it hard if we start talking about ICSI and they end up crying and then setting me off!

I try remain as positive as I can, its hard but what else can you do. I already plan my next ICSI treatment in my head in case this one doesn't work but its just my way of dealing with it. But of course its going to work. ;)

    Nic, so sorry hun.
That sucks, and has happened to me in 5 of my cycles, I always feel cheated not to make test day.
Hugs for you hun, I hope your next turn is the one and that you can spend some quality time with DH in the mean time.

I'm still lurking, still look and feel pregnant, loads of symptoms etc which is just so cruel. Next blood test on Thursday.

So sorry Nic that you didn't make it to test day and its a BFN. At least you have some money behind you and you can have another go. I know how you must be feeling, be good to yourself and OH.

Toni, enjoy the detox pads let me know what you think.

Runner, hope you are OK. I know you had reflexology through your ICSI treatment did you find it helped and did you have it when you were stimming too?

You lot have been chatty today.

CONGRATS TO SARAH - Brilliant news, take it easy and enjoy.

Chickpea, I am sorry you feel so down. Have a little wallow, and then try and pick yourself up and keep going. It doesnt get easier, but you do learn to cope with it better.

Lisa, our bodies are cruel. I hope it sorts itself out soon, and am sending you huge hugs, and another set to Runnerduck XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Nichart - Have no words for you chuck, just huuuuuuuuggggggeeee hugs XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Nichart - bad news, sorry you didn't even get to test. At least you do have a bit of cash and can plan for the next go.

Thanks for cheery words, feeling slightly less gloomy today!

    +++++

JuJu - this time round I've been TTC 19 calendar months (I think about 22 cycles). That might not sound *ages* but it took 40+cycles (3.5 yrs) to conceive #1. So in the last 6 yrs, I've been TTC every month bar the 9 months I was pg (obviously!)+the 6 months I was exclusively bf-ing afterwards.

I know I should *just be grateful* I've got one, but in some ways, second time round is worse.

I imagined we'd 'cracked it' after the first BFP - that came shortly after a lap and dye so I had convinced myself my tubes had been blocked and were now fixed and second time would be easy. Wrong!

What makes it harder is that since I had #1, everyone I knew that had babies at the same time has gone one to have 1 and in some cases 2 more babies.

It's just hard for me to deal with.

First time round I had other things to focus on, in the 3.5 yrs I spent TTC#1 we moved jobs and cities, we did a round the world trip, we both got promoted, we bought a new house..

This time round, most of my time involves being surrounded by babies, children and pg people. Even at work!

The fact I got pg once is *the good news*. The bad news is I can't seem to replicate the feat!

But yes, I know it could be worse, esp. to those who know for sure they can't conceive naturally (or are at least unlikely to.)

    I'll shut up now!

    Have a good day!
