  • love the analogy stef, I agree, it does take longer!

Good luck with the scans ginvzt - you will be amazed what they can tell you, they measure that the lining is the right thickness for the date, and can tell you how many follicles you have maturing and as stef says, they can give you every accurate info about the best dates to bd.

Well, fingers crossed, that all that info will produce some results! Surprisingly, my OH expressed wish to go to the scan with me! Still need to get time off work for next Wednesday myself. If it comes to the worst, I can always take half a day annual leave.

(Oh, and Clomid effects restarted - killer headache for today)

Well the hospital appointment was a waste of time. Wouldn't do anything until we'd been TTC for 12 months, the consultant was nasty saying it was too soon because of DS age! Its up to me if I want my children close in age. So I walked out. :( x

Its up to me if I want my children close in age. So I walked out. They let me see a fertility specialist, who's agreed to see me next week, but I'm not getting my hopes up :( x

I think a lots of trusts will have this policy even if you have had problems having number one. I supose it is due to cost of exams/drugs etc they want to give it a chance to happen naturally which it could. Just very frustrating for you.

I had my first after 18 months of trying just as I was been sent for tests was a complete and utter shock.

Have since tried for 6 years for number 2.

But I have heard of a lot of people who have had treatment for number one and then had a surprise baby shortly after.

Hope your next appointment is better.
Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.

Thank you for all the Clomid advice :A

Evil AF arrived today with a vengeance, would love to have a nice 28 day cycle instead of a whatever it fancies one! It seems to vary between 22 days and 42 days.

Hope your appointment next week goes better JohnnieStar, the whole process can be frustrating at times.

I went to see 'Up' at the cinema at the weekend and there was a cartoon on at the beginning about the storks who bring the babies..... if only it was that easy!! :rotfl:

I think there is a facebook pregnancy epidemic. I am now on the 3rd birth of the year and the 5th pregnancy annoucement.

Dont get me wrong i am dearly happy for them all but my green eye monster feeling is getting worse with each one :(

  • I Know what you mean alamaya, I have just started on the pregnancy announcements, and although you are very happy for them and its not their fault, you really want to just rip their heads off!!!!!!!

PS well done on the weight loss in your signature, you are doing really well.
