BZ - that is such great news! So happy for you and your dh - really happy for you.
AfM - meeting with social worker went really well, she said we had a lot to offer a child and that she would be recommending us to her manager to proceed to the next step in the adoption process which is a three day preparation course. Need to wait till week after next for confirmation that we can proceed and if we can the prep course will either be July or October0 -
BZ so pleased for you, great news.
Primmer really glad to hear the meeting went well.

BZ - great news! I'm not quite ready to click on the link, but glad it all went well.
Lucyloo - fantastic news. Technically that is two pregnancies on this board in two days. Amazing stuff!
Primmer - glad things went well. Please keep us all up to date on the journey.
Teamlowe - Have you nicked my slogan! I love it!fluffnutter wrote: »I'm not a doctor but a lack of a period plus perfectly healthy ovaries in February doesn't equal something to worry about in my mind.
My cousin's just had a hysterectomy due to suspected ovarian cancer (she's fine, the 'masses' were just cysts) and her symptoms have been nothing like yours.
Cancer doesn't just pop up in a matter of weeks - if your ovaries looked fine in February, I bet you they're fine now.
My head knows all that, but my gut doesn't quite agree. 6 months ago I would be assuming it's nothing, but I can't help but be a little worried now. Remember that although the ovaries looked visually ok, I definitely know there were cancer cells within cm of them until very recently, so it's not quite the same as someone who hasn't had recent cancer.
Having said that, I'm getting AF symptoms again - right on time if I assume the last AF happened when it should have - so its looks like the issue could be a simple blockage caused by scar tissue. I believe it's a simple operation to fix that, and hopefully it won't hold up us starting IVF again in August.
Mr google tells me that ovarian cancers that cause AF to stop are hormone secreting ones, so I wouldn't get symptoms. Or rather, not normal AF symptoms. Anyway, I'm not stressed today. I'll know more tomorrow.
and am still holding out for minor imaginary hope of it actually being pregnancy0
