How ignorant is this...? I'm not sure you have helped answer the question in anyway.

I can also see from some other posts you have made that you have built a decent post count by being somewhat arrogant - how about this - rather than flame people just don't open your mouth.

I can understand how you feel, but the truth can be very painful.

Money doesn't make the person...if anything it ruins the person, so you go on enjoying the £'s CTT as it has certainly made you an arrogant bar steward.

Hi, Many thanks to the people that answered the question asked, that's all I wanted a straight reply, why do some ( and I mean one person in particular) people on these boards have to be so rude, theres really no need.

To be fair, Barclaycard have always had a reputation for giving poor limits.

My first Barclaycard gave me £1700 limit when I was earning £17k. Lets see what they give me in my current application (if any) earning £20k with reduced credit limits on other cards.
  • I'd rather have no money, nothing and no one than have a cheap arrogent atitude like ctt's.

I bet hes really happy tho.

Personally I would consider a salary of 14k as back pocket money and bearing mind your indebtness I think you were lucky even to be offered a line of credit from Barclaycard.
I earn £700 a month! I have 5 credit cards, each has £3000 limit!!!! Back pocket money....?

samuela66, you should take the card. And you can ask for increase limit after 6 months.

  • I earn over 30k and I got 2350 on a credit limit with BC. I have other cards, tiny mortgage, very secure job but I just put it down to BC being stingy.
The best things in life are NOT free - but they sure are cheaper with MSE!:j

I don't agree with anything else you have said on this thread but you do have a point there. Having big credit cards limits isn't anything to be proud of in my book. It just means you have the potential to get in a LOT of bother with your finances.
