What phone (9yr old)
Hi all thanks for reading, any ideas welcome
It's my sons birthday in a couple of days and he wants a mobile (several hints dropped lol). He did have one a hand me down from OH but then OH broke his phone and took the little ones phone back much to our annoyance. So i was going to buy him one but i'm not into mobiles (i don't have one:eek:).
He keeps kidnapping the phone back to listen to music and play games on it so it would need to have these apllications available. would prefer it to be on vodaphone as we already have friends and family so our daughter can keep in touch without the old no credit to call excuse. on a budget so not expensive if possible and i would consider older phone that i could get second hand, lets face it he's 9 it'll probobly get knocked about a bit lol
Any help appreciated it's such a mine field and they all drone on about mp capabilities and card and well i dont have a clue. OH had a look but kept picking ones he wanted so he could swap again that were £150 i dont think so
Thanks

I would recommend this one :
http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/nokia-2630
It's got everything a 9 year might want and all for £30 .......
*Camera *loudspeaker *bluetooth *Games included *Memory card slot *FM Radio * Flash for the camera * Color screen *Camera Flash *Nice look
Not bad and being Nokia , from my experience this brand are pretty durable , not to mention it is already on Vodafone and can be put on your Vodafone Family plan so he won't run out of credit.
Hope this helps

Something like a 6300? Typical nokia candy bar style, has a decent music player, games, can take a mini SD card.
I got one SIM free for £80 last summer, but have seen that theyre still about in most phone shops. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
