Is there anyone you can complain to? The neighbours downstairs when we lived in our flat used to play really, really loud music from about 10pm every night until the small hours. You could literally feel the bass in our furniture and it got so ridiculous we called the landlord and the police one night. There are sociable hours laws on noise apparently and a week later these neighbours were gone - bliss!!!

Good morning all, CD 10 for me and temping going ok, although i had a spike early in the week, with hayfever disrupting everything. I am hoping it all sorts itself out soon.

Oh well, still don't know whether we should be trying anyway, but i think we are going to see what happens.

I have had problems with OH as many of you know, but one thing i have been very lucky with is that he doesn't find all the info a turn off, and has never complained of feeling like a donor, so i am very grateful for that.

I hope you feel better Twinklie, i understand your feelings of its not fair, even though i don't really want what they have, I get this sometimes when my little brother gets help with money issues or buying a house from my parents, and we worked hard to pay for ours. Take care and keep ranting on here, then they will not know how you feel and you can work towards emigrating and getting on with your lives happy as a family :)

How annoying nunny, have a good restful day and a nap today and try and relax. Neighbours can be soo selfish and annoying. Big Hug for you :)

Very sticky bean and baby dust to all :)

    Morning all

Twinklie that does sound like a stonking big row brewing:eek: My parents used to do the same with my sister as she's the one with the kids:rolleyes: But I had a quiet word about how I was feeling left out and how they seemed to favour my sister etc etc......they felt absolutely terrible and vowed to treat all 3 of us the same and to be fair to them, they've kept their word:D Maybe your Oh could try that approach:confused: if he's feeling brave enough(it's a v.scary thing to do!!!) HTH x

Nunny definitely go and have that nap later....or even drag the duvet down onto the sofa:D Much nicer and loads cosier if the weather near you is as rubbish as it is here!!!:D So much for summer:rolleyes:

Now trying not to get excited about anything but AF is a no show so far, although there is plenty of time left:rolleyes: But I don't have the usual bloatedness, spotting, brown cm etc that nomally indicates the witch is on her way:) Although I do still have backache:rolleyes::confused:
Omg I want this week to end now so i can test.......no way can I hold out til next weekend:eek: Now do we know of anywhere else except tesco with pg tests on offer?!?!?!?!

Sticky babydust to you all xxxxxxxxx

Believe me, we've tried! The "Housing Manageress" who is supposed to be in charge still owes us a phone call from 3/4 weeks ago when there was blood all down the stairs! I'm giving up with it now TBH. OH and I decided we're going to give it another month or two and if it's still like this we're going to complain to the Housing Ombudsman to get them to do something about it.

We're paying a hell of a lot to live here compaired to what my SIL is paying to live in her 2 bedroomed council house. We pay £10 a week on top of our rent for cleaners to come in and do the stairs, gardening etc and I can't remember the last time the cleaning was done and they cut the lawns properly! We're going to start witholding the £10 and see what gets said!

Confuzzled, I will be doing that later on! I've got loads of trashy TV reminded so I will be watching that, and likely falling asleep to it!!

Twinklie, My OH and his sister are treat differently as she has kids and we don't (yet!) but it's the other way to you. OH gets treat BETTER as he doesn't hound his mum for money all the time like she does. She loves her grandkids to pieces though like more grandparents do. Hope you manage to get everything sorted out soon hun x

Sorry rant over!! (I'm so tired!!)

Nunnygirl, in all seriousness you should complain to whoever you can - and also consider getting some decent ear plugs. You really do need to sleep better than you are at the moment and I've been told off before for not sleeping enough as it can affect your hormones and lead to very low moods. So don't take it lightly and rant on here however much you need to, regular tiredness is just awful and is hard to shake off, x

Hi Leopardlady, how is your OH doing now? I try really hard not to put too much pressure on my OH at the moment, so cannot tell him we've already missed this month and I'll just act like normal with him - that will worry him, for sure!

Moneyangel - yes, you're supposed to use the OV test sticks in the afternoon, as the LH surge isn't so apparent in your wee first thing in the morning - but as the CBFM works differently and detects more than that, it needs the first wee so it is always testing the same each day. I would say keep BDing at least every other day for now and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
  • Morning all! 8DPO and CD30 here. Had a loooong lie in just to enjoy the feeling of being in a bed (not in a tent in a sleeping bag) - total bliss :D

Sorry to hear about family/neighbour problems, stuff like that just makes life that little bit crapper and harder to deal with, so I hope you ladies can say something and get it sorted.

Is there a testing list around? I flicked back a number of pages but couldn't see one. Have plonked all my stuff into FF and it reckons AF is due on the 4th. Not sure if I'll test before though as I need to keep my pma and an early bfn won't help!

I personally would be grateful they hadn't asked me and would instead be asking for a donation to the emigration fund instead! Guilt can work both ways - so use it to your advantage when the time is right!

Cheers MadMac, hadn't thought of it like that. Although the frustrating thing is that there will be no funds. They are retired and their money is in their house! Ha ha. I feel much more reasonable about the whole thing this morning. Must have been a bit hormonal last night.

Right time to read everything else. I thought I better reply to things individually or I'd get myself confused...feeling exceptionally blonde this morning. :rotfl:

Yeah, that would never happen. My OH would much rather make all the right noises and burry his head in the sand. He's infuriating like that when it comes to his family. Essentially despite having his own home, always worked (usually more than one job at once) ever since he left school etc...he's the disappointment. He was told he was gifted at school but went off the rails a bit. He only got A's and B's and god forbid a C in his O Levels. His A levels weren't brill and it's taken him 20 years to finish his degree....

His brother on the other hand wasn't singled out as gifted so his lesser grades at school and college are acceptable because he did his best. He got his degree in the standard 3 years too! Soooo...my OH didnt fulfill his potential and therefore is a disappointment. He subscribes to this way of thinking and therefore constantly feels like he has to make it up to his parents. Drives me nuts!

On a slightly different matter....docs have put me back on steroids for my asthma. Boo.

    Morning ladies

So much for our "kids dig" at he ruins today. DS needs a doctor. His skin is "boiling" to the touch although I only have a bbt thermometer so dont know exactly what it is. But then he says he's cold. He says his neck hurts and his tummy. His been crying really loudly all night and didnt want either of us to leave him so I "slept" on his bed with him and DF on the floor next to him. I think he got up and went to bed in the small hours but poor little guy was up every hour and not happy. This morning he doesnt want to eat and when I tried to get him dressed he crawled into my lap and said he just wanted to cuddle me. My child is a happy child, even when he had chicken pox-but he really doesnt feel well today and I've never seen him like this before-literally-never.He even asked if he could take blankie with to the doctor and he's normally happy to leave blankie at home.

Twinklie, that is a horrible situation. I have more personal experiences on that too but it might not help to share, unfortunately the only help I can offer is if you let things carry on plodding along the way they are, the parents eventually will see you and oh have worked really hard and will express their pride. Madmac has the right idea about the alternative...how do you think I made it to England as a single mum to a one year old
Madmac speaking of the cbfm...mine asked for my first stick today. You would have laughed because I was still half asleep and I didn’t put the cap back on and then I put the stick in the wrong way. Anyway, once I realised what I’d done I did another stick and tried again...but the monitor didn’t tell me anything. The stick came up with the control line and another which was not as strong (so I know that means Im not peak) but when does this clever little computer start “talking” to me.
Maddie, My df says the same thing...way to take the romance out. We have coined a phrase now that works for us and it means I just bat my eyelids at him or say something like “we’re a go go babe” ...we say ttc has been like every other thing we’ve done in our lives together...teamwork...I do the planning and he does the hard labour.
So I'm off to get sorted for doctors appointment at 12. And will check in later.
