my body is confusing me  first i ov later than i normally do, and now just 8 days later i've started spotting, so af must be imminent.
usually have 28 day cycleswhich would make af due on wed 4th nov, never been this early before

I don't want to get your hopes up but it could be from implantation, keeping my fingers crossed for you that it is x

implantation bleeding happens at different times shaz - it's just that for a lot of people it coincides with when af is due. I had implantation bleeding at 10dpo this time round.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much Shazrobo, more women Don't have implantation bleeding than do and it is not uncommon to have the odd short cycle. Short cycles usually occur if your body has released a bad egg and it's natures way of getting rid of it and making you fertile again more quickly. I usually have an lp of anything between 10-12 days but have had a couple of 8 day lp's. I've also had a few cycles with a 10 day lp but spotting for 1-2 days prior to af arriving so spotting from 8dpo. I just don't want you to get your hopes up because believe you me there's nothing worse than convincing yourself everything that's going on fits with pg then af arrives! It's a long hard fall! (There speaks the voice of experience I'm afraid!)

Bitzer I reckon you'll get your peak tomorrow! And hey if everything else is great this cycle such as cm and libido maybe this will be your lucky month so it would be worth waiting a couple of extra days! Maybe it's your body's way of making sure the egg is top quality before it's released! Fingers crossed!
Nice to see you MadMac, we miss you!
1more meant to say earlier I think we've all been there lately! It's not easy to keep up the positivity 24/7 month after month when all around you seem to be finding it so easy! Just take comfort in the fact that this forum shows you are not in the minoritry there are just as many people struggling like we are but we're just less likely to know about them in the "real world". I've always said before I think there's definately an element of more appreciation for being pg when you've had a struggle to get there. I know that I know far too many women who whinge and moan the entire way through pregnancy because it just "happened" for them. And I know a couple of graduates from this thread and the TTC 12 months plus who really do have a horrible pregnancy and rarely moan because they already know how extremely lucky they are. I guess what I'm saying is the road might not be teh most pleasant for us but the rainbow at the other end will be all the brighter because of it!
