Hi all, am a wreck today - physically not mentally thank heavens! Totally got my snowboarding vibe on last night, my confidence is restored and despite cracking my knees quite badly on the ice (and now they're literally black ) I conquered my fear of the drag lift and have been signed off for the big-boy slope :j Woo!
On the ttc front cd14 today, cbfm says I'm still "high" but I'll bet I get my LH surge later today so I may check with an OPK - control freak, moi?!
Anywho, massive congrats to Sir Monster! You lot will have a fab 8 months together gossiping on the pg board!
Welcome new people, boys and girlsWe're not fussed whether you have inny-bits or outy-bits, we're all in the same boat here. Though ema beware, we do give out lots of TMI (too much information) so you may want to skim some posts.. :rotfl:
Love and babydust ladies (and gent;)) xxNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Hi everyone, not feeling too good today, can feel that my AF is going to come, my tummy is hurting a lot, not had pains this bad for ages. I came off the pill at the begining of July and had my first AF at the begining of August, i have found that i have had no discharge around ovulation time and haven't seen any at any other times, until yesterday when i found that i had white discharge, (sorry if thats too much information) Could that and the worse tummy pains be because my body has only just got back to normal with me having been on the pill for over five years.
Congrats to everyone who has had bfp. And congrats to the op who had a scan
Well done Bitzer, thats great.Married 09/09/090 -

Could be your body getting back into the swing of things. How much you drink also can have an effect (I mean in hydration terms rather than booze!) I check my cm internally from up by my cervix and this month have had a *lot* more externally than before
Tummy pains can be ovulation pains and general re-animation pains! Depending what pill you were on you may not have ovulated and your cervix may have remained in one place all month, so if you think about it your ligaments and muscles and things are getting used for the first time in ages. Don't know about you but I'm dead stiff getting out of bed after a nights sleep, so wouldn't be surprised that after 5 years of hormonal control my bits might feel the same :rotfl:Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -

Like you I have been off the pill a few months ( had been on it for 4 years and the injection the 18mths before that ), I'm finding ovulation time I feel heavy womb ( mild cramps on one side) and uncomfortable for about 3 days - AF is heavier that previously
Oh what fun this is ?!?! Hopefuly we'll not have to worry about AF/Ovulation soon !!!!Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -

jacobsmum: i used the superdrug OV test kits and found them great. I personally am not that 'in tune' with my body so would have been lost without them. They were BOGOF too so v MSE.
it's been a very odd day here. One of my work colleagues died in the early hours and whilst he was very poorly we did think that he was doing quite well in fighting the illness but apparantly not; it was quite a shock as we all work pretty closely together. On the flipside, another colleague gave birth to a boy in the wee small hours and she didn't even know that she was PG! How bizarre is that!
To be fair I think she was in heavy denail (although god knows what her BF thought!) as everyone else seemed to know she was PG aside from herself. She was actually in work the day before. The baby was 6lb 13oz so I suspect she went pretty much full time.0 -
