I know i really dont know:-(! Will have alot to talk about after!
  • hi, eMa, nice to meet you x
    :pMarried June 26th 2009 :p
  • Evenin' all.

Congrats Sir Monster, what lovely news :j

Welcome eMa, it'll be nice to hear about all this from a male perspective (hope that doesn't sound patronising - it wasn't meant to! :o)

MLSL, I have only recently noticed a pain when I ovulate, like a little sharp pain on one side that comes and goes for about a day, and now you mention it, it's only been since I came off of the pill (around April/May this year) I definitely noticed it in August before I fell pregnant. Will look out for it again soon (hopefully!)

I am another who is constantly angry about chavs! I'm fed up of walking to school with my son, and having to subject him to skanky smelly people effing and blinding all over the place! Is there any need to walk down the road shouting obscenities?! What is wrong with people?!! We live in a horrible area, but we've sold our house and are shortly going to rent a place in a lovely road, it's really close to the beach and as far as we can tell, fairly chav-free! (Don't think they could afford to live there haha!!)

Hope everyone is OK today xxxxx

congrats on the bfp, sir monster.
at my sons school, there is a 14 year old girl who is heavily pregnant, who smokes, and also drinks, we live on a council estate, most of my road is private where people have bought them, but just the next road along is full of chavs.
enjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)
  • Morning ladies (and gents)

Boooo...went to test this morning, and guess what had arrived..? :(

Oh well at least I'm not waiting anymore!

And I've warned OH that its all gun blazing for Nov!...(he doesn't seem too upset tbh..think he's just thinking of all the nookie!) :rotfl:

So...goof luck to anyone else testing today/this weekend.

  • Morning all! Just a quickie to say huge congratulations to sir monster, commiserations to MV, and welcome to eMa and MLSL. (sorry if I've missed anyone, been reading in haste the last few days)

In answer to your question about why you haven't felt ov pains before, MLSL, I think it's because the way the pill works is to trick your body into thinking it is already pg, and therefore you don't ovulate. (The mini-pill works in a different way though - as far as I remember that prevents the sperm getting past your cervix, or something like that - it's a verrrrry long time since I took the pill and learnt about all this!)

Happy to say it really is Friday today - nearly the weekend...! Big hugs all round.

    Morning girls,

Had a quick catch up and I notice some congratulations are in order for all the positive results :j

Just to let you know I went for my scan on Tuesday and there is a baby in there. I'm so relieved. They couldn't do the tests though as I'm only just over 11 weeks gone so I have got to go back next Friday for all the tests.

They didn't really show me much in the scan but I think thats because I have to go back, my DH saw everything though and he said she just kept zooming in and out checking for arms and legs. All she really said was that there are two feet.

    Sending everyone baby dust.

  • Congrats to Sir Monster and big hugs to MV

Glad your scan went well B2B

Sorry to rad and run but in work and have to type quick before they all start looking over my shoulder :rotfl::rotfl:

Big hugs to anyone that needs them, big welcome to any newbies and hopefully a fab weekend for everyone

Sticky baby dust to all xxxxx
