Another massive chatting session but the mood does seem to have lifted so hopefully those of you who were badly in need of kind words received them and they helped you. I've mentioned before that I've had no experience of a M/C (or even a pregnancy) so I can't offer anything aside from great sympathy and you can have that in spades.:heart2:.
good news for courgette; remind me again when your wedding is as I've forgotten:rotfl:! We're all counting down the days for you here; it's actually my mum's birthday too so I will remember and will have a silent raise of a glass to you and your OH.
To the ballet dancers/teachers; I love ballet and it was always my secret ambition to be a ballerina when growing up. We moved around loads though because of my dad's job so I could never really start formal lessons. Thinking about giving it a whirl now; I've got the shoes and everything, I very naughtily taught myself to dance on pointe which may explain why my feet and toes are wrecked now. Can you believe I used to use surgical spirit to harden the skin:eek:
CD21 for me and my cycle tends to be under 28 days so I'm expecting AF anytime now. My boobs have been hurting since OV but...they did that last month...and the month before that etc etc so am not reading anything into anything. What will be will be I suppose.0 -
WOW!!!!!!! Just come back from 4 hours teaching and think its the best therapy ever! Totally took my mind off everything and listened to 14 year olds moan about anything!! Love them to bits! I feel sos o much better now, don't want to say this too loudly but think I may have just turned a small corner!! Having a glass of wine to celebrate!!!
Hi Catw0man yeah I teach RAD too! And I'm the same as you, have a full time job in the day and just do part time hours teaching! Wierd!! Did you used to dance yourself much?
I can't believe how much you guys no about when you ovulate etc!! I find it difficult to remember which day of the week I'm on let alone which day of my cycle I'm on! Maybe I'll start counting!
Also decided to go to the chemist today and bought some more folic acid tablets, chucked the last lot away in a temper!
Gosh what a difference a day makes!
Throwing an enourmous amount of sticky baby dust over every single one of you lovely people xxxxxMarried June 26th 2009

Courgette, I can't cope with the PG thread at the moment, I said earlier in the week that I was gonna lurk for a bit but I said a lot of things then (such as, to my boss: "I want to get back to normal as soon as possible so will only have a few days off" :rotfl:- gonna break it to her tomorrow that I was sadly deluded!)
Jenny, so glad you've turned a corner - enjoy your wine

I danced up until last year, though I miss it terribly but just don't have the time these days, I actually went to a full-time school when I left high school but hated it, it was in the middle of nowhere and all they spoke about was ballet - it was too much! So I left and spent the next 9 years at uni instead! I also teach jazz, tap and Scottish, ;ast week the owner of the dance school offered to sell me the branch of the school that I teach at:eek: had it been a few years ago I would have jumped at the chance, however I have had a long hard think about it, and I think I have enough stress just now, I really want to concentrate on ttc, and hopefully a baby very soon, I think it's the right decision, though it was hard to make.
What do you do for your other job? I'm a Biomedical Scientist - completely different:rotfl:
Ellie, I spent many a day bathing my feet in surgical spirit! You should definitely go to an adult class, it's great fun and it definitely improves posture, breathing and confidence!0 -
Wow! You ballerinas make me so jealous!
I did it for a couple of years when I was younger but never got any good and seemed to have stiffened up so much I can't touch my toes anymore  I seem to be a hobby-dipper with dance, I really enjoyed flamenco and did that for a year and a bit but it made my dodgy knees worse so had to pack it in
Lildevil-Yep, I'm an Oxfordian too
ellie-you're right, it feels like the mood had lifted and I hope for those still followed by the black dog can find the strength to get through it. I know I keep harping on about it, but you ladies are an inspiration individually and a strength collectively :T
much love and babydust xxNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -

damned I cant get a test till next week (pay day):mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Fingers crossed for you, I'd offer you some of my Ebay cheapies, but with a post strike looming, I don't think you'd get them before you get paid!
I too have painful boobs (have done for the last 2 weeks) and am very tired - although that could be to do with the fact that my cat keeps waking me up in the middle of the night! Can you guess that I'm frantically trying not to symptom spot and failing dismally!jennyfleur77 wrote: »I can't believe how much you guys no about when you ovulate etc!! I have each CD marked in my diary or else I'd forget too!!!0 -

I work for a company called Natural England in the day, I'm only an administrator there so don't have an awful lot of pressure, your day job sounds so cool! I really want to become a primary school teacher but unfortunately went to a full time dance college at 16 and in those days they didn't offer any degrees or any academic courses for that matter! So it would take me ages to become a teacher as I'd need to do an access course 1st, all in all i think it'd take about 4 years!! Which would put alot of pressure on my hubby as he's self employed and there would only be his wage coming in! I think thats maybe something I will look into when I (crossing every part of my body for luck) have children and am working part yime, then maybe I can do a part time course too? We'll see, probably be way too knackered by then!!
What school did you go to that was in the middle of nowhere? I used to teach jazz, but really hated it! I've also taught a bit of irish as was in an irish show for a couple of years, but quickly realised that I was totally crap at teaching it as was totally crap at doing it!! I think you could confidently call my version of irish dancing "air shuffling!"
Thanks Ali, am enjoying the wine as I type!! Hope you are ok, don't rush back to work, take all the time you need, lots of bug hugs xxxxMarried June 26th 2009
