Morning everyone
How are we all today?
I got a letter from the hospital yesterday saying i got a scan booked this afternoon, so i think my doctor got me another scan so i dont know why he has got me in for two scans as he said on monday that he will get a scan booked and for me to keep the monday appointment. I dont know why as surely both scans they will be doing the same.. so confused!!
I am feeling a bit better today, which is good!

Hi, this is my first day on this, my friend told me to join as it may help, my husband and I went for our 12 week scan last week, but it showed that we lost our baby at about 7 weeks, I thought I was doing ok and feeling a little better but today I just feel like crying all over again! I hope this gets easier, has anyone else been through the same? x

moneyangel - I take 100mg B6 daily (from H&B) and have done since the start of August. I can't say as its lengthened my LP per se, but this month I ov'd a day earlier and am on 11DPO... I shall keep you informed as to when AF shows up!
Agnus Castus (also from H&B) is the one you take up until ov (well you can take it all month, but I figure its MSE to stop-makes a pot last twice as long!) That one is supposed to regulate your cycle and to balance your hormones in the follicular phase of your cycle. Haven't tried progesterone cream, though I'm sure a quick google might bring up some info for you.
Morning all :hello: Feel quite chirpy today as its my niece's 3rd birthday and I rang my sister to have a natter this morning and got to wish her happy birthday myself (she managed to tear herself away from a Postman Pat dvd especially for me) Really wish they were still in the UK, have missed all her birthdays so far, but they are coming back for christmas, so she can have her first proper British christmas experience
I'm 11DPO, CD25, hoping AF stays away for another couple of days (obviously another 8 months would be awesome, but I'll take what I can get at the moment!!) Have to ring my GP and find out my Day21 progesterone results today. Then this evening I am going to have a girly night with my pg mate and coo over all the baby thing's she's bought. Fingers (and legs) crossed her tenant stays in for a few more weeks so it can get nice and big and strong
Love and hugs to all of you, whether you're having a rough time, a sniffly time, a dizzy time, a knackered-from-bding time or whatever. You ladies are just so lovelyYou deserve to be happy and healthy and remember the rough days are there so you can truly appreciate the days of joy. I hope those are only just around the corner for you all.
Stickybaby (and bean) dust xx
Just to add: jenny- I haven't been through that, but sadly there are a few ladies on here who have. Take care of yourself and if you want to talk, we're all here for you :grouphug:
laura- maybe your doctor's being overcautious? (or he's lost the plot!:p) Glad you're feeling a bit better today too xxNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
bitzer maloney I think my doctor lost the plot years ago!!:rotfl: I think i still need to go for the monday scan as im going to the early pregnancy clinic after so i think the nurse will just talk to me about what happens next
jennyfleur77 as i said in the pregnancy thread, it does get easier in time, last saturday i thought i was getting better then suddenly you go back to crying, feeling like you cant do anything but stay in bed and cry but after time you get better, im starting to feel brighter after my m/c last week so it does get better.0 -
:hello:Morning ladies!
Been back to the doc's; signed off til the end of half term now (next Friday). It's a relief in a way as I can now focus on getting better and doing the last bits of wedding prep. It made me feel better too that I went to school yesterday and found I couldn't manage it and came home again rather than not trying at all. Everyone commented on how ill I looked too (is this a good or a bad thing?). Anyway, I spoke to my head of dept and she's given me a short list of everything that needs doing with regards my yr11 who are doing their exam the week we get back after the hols, just coursework admin. I know now that once I've got that done they'll be okay, the teaching of their lessons has been handed over to other teachers so I hope they should be fine now.
Today's job is to buy my wedding shoes and some lipstick, think that'll do for one day!Updating soon...0 -
Lauralou and Jennyfluer just to say that I mc'd at 7 weeks at the end of July. At the time I thought my heart would break and that I'd never dare ttc again. I felt so guilty too because I already have a DS and had a termination about 10 years ago whereas my H2B had never even had a scare, I felt like I'd let him down. It gets easier though, it really does. I'll never forget them (early scan showed twins) but I know we''l have babies in the future. The way the midwife explained it to me, and which gave me so much comfort at the time, is that mc is nature's way of letting you avoid making a heart-breaking decision later on when a scan discovers massive abnormalities which mean the baby would have very little quality of life. Hope I haven't offended anyone saying that and sending you all the love you need
Courgette xxxUpdating soon...0 -
courgette totally understand what your saying. The worst thing to do is blame yourself. The best thing to do is talk to your OH about it. Talked to mine last night asking him how he was feeling as i felt that when you have an m/c, it is the women who suffer as its our body but its also out partners who find it hard, he said he was upset but didnt want to show it in front of me, would be nice if he did but do undertsand why he didnt and he is feeling better now. So i think things are looking up :-)0
