Thanks for the welcome, glad to feel my concerns are not 'silly' - hubbie is so relaxed about everything it comes across like he doesn't really care (but that's a whole other thread ...!!)
Anyway looking at ovulation calculators on the internet for 28-34 day cycle I am looking at fertile days 23-29 July. Which is our anniversary weekend so hopfully a weekend away might do the trick;)
Do you recommend any better or more accurate ways than the internet of finding out fertile days?
    Thanks! x

Annie, I'm pleased you got somewhere today with the GP. I am going to see how I go this month and if I have a really long cycle again I will make an appointment.

I'm off to play on the wii with the kids.

Hope your friend is ok leopard lady i've got a heavily pg friend who wont even leave the house she's that scared she'll contract it. She's due soon so it's the last thing she needs.
Annie - glad you had some success with your dr, mines been next to usless. I came off the pill in jan and i've had a few spots here and there but not what i would call a proper period and my dr refuses to do anything about it till its been min 6months. My longest cycle was over 3months and i'm still not 'regular' now. Maybe its time i went back if i get another bfn this month.
Sorry to all who's af has turned up and good luck to those on 2ww.

Hi ladies , thankyou all so much for the congratulations. I still can't believe it now.

It has come at a really good time for me as I have now finished work for the 6wks holiday, so can take it easy for the first few wks.

Otherhalf wants to tell people now, but im not going to let him , (even though he doesn't know ive told people on here lol)

I hope for some of you I have given you a stronger hope of falling pregnant. especially as i was written off as never having children.

Phoned my doctors yesterday and spoke to my gp who replied "how did that happen" lol, your the doctor you tell me??

    THANKYOU EVERYONE:beer:

We have to go in and make sure all is ok next wk and confirnm exactly how far I am etc, so as soon as I know I will keep you all informed.

will chat to you all again soon, and again thankyou all so much, im sure without you all I would not be in this situation today.

I'm about 6dpo and when I googled my 'symptoms' it said it could be ligaments stretching..........and the sensible me says this is HIGHLY unlikely but then theres that little voice in my head thats saying 'well, maybe it is':confused:

ARRRGGGGHHHHH!! That'll teach me for being stupid! And I've got this for 8days waiting for AF to show up(or stay away;))

Confuzzled, I was a total nightmare last month. I spent every day from 6dpo on twoweekwait.com and I think I read every single thread! I SSd like I've never done before and after CONVINCING myself and DH of BFP, AF turned up 3 days early. I was gutted. I have made a pact with myself never to do this again - hence the reason for joining you guys so you can slap my hands next time!

I really hope yours is a genuine symptom and please don't think I'm being negative - I'm just demonstrating that we all cling to hope in the 2ww! Big babydust to you.;)
