Phew i've just about caught up.
Congrats to lil devil and Kenco:j. I'm soooo pleased for you
I know i said i wasnt going to ss this month:rolleyes: but my bbs are really sore. I'm trying not to think about it too much tho as i've had funny af type pains since last night. I'm due to test at the end of the week but i'm not feeling too hopeful tbh. Quite annoyed with OH tho. He's just decied he thinks we should wait till we move before we start trying for another. Currently live in a fairly big 2 bed but as we already have one ds he thinks it's unfair for them to share:mad:. Told him there's no way we can even think of moving for 2yrs, need to pay debt off and save some money first. Hope its not his way of telling me he's changed his mind and doesnt want another:(. Told him there is a poss that i may be pg this month and how would he feel about it and he just said 'i'd have to be ok with it, but you probably wont be anyway'. He did apologise later and said he just didnt feel like the time was right. When is the time ever gonna be right tho? I know we'd manage financially you always do dont you. Anyway needless thats why i'm not looking forward to testing on fri.

Have a hug nickynoo. Do you think its really that he's worried about shared bedrooms or more that the enormity of a new bub has hit him and he's having a wobble? If its really about rooms you can point out to him that by the time you fall pg, actually have bub and he/she is old enough to move out of your room the best part of 2 yrs will probably have gone by anyway so you don't need a 3 bed right now. Not that there's anything wrong with kids sharing IMO, especially when they're little.:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0

Nickynoo - *hugs* sorry to hear your OH is having a bit of a wobble
I second kelinik in that you don't need space for a baby/child until they're past toddler years! As she says, by the time you have the baby and it's old enough, you'll prob have moved already! I hope he's just having a moment of temporary madness
Been feeling sicky today - AGAIN! I think I'm coming down with something else (haven't I already suffered enough this month?) If I thought I'd ov'd I'd be SS by now :rotfl: good job I don't think so, can you imagine what I'd be like?!0 -
Nickynoo, so many of us are worried about our finances at the moment that it is inevitable that some men will start to wobble about us TTC - and I would suspect that might be the issue perhaps?
Money worries can surface in all types of ways, but I'm sure that once the bump starts to grow, most men would be fine!0 -
Hi all
well I'm an idiot! Cd18 on my first month ttc. On a 28day cycle and what did I do today...went an bought a cb test and suprise suprise it was a bfn. Now I know it's called a two week wait for a reason but something in me thought If I was a tiny amount of pg hormone might register. But no. Ruined my own day :-(
hope everyone else if having better time x0 -
Awwww clarity! If only tests worked that quickly
Don't fret - call it a moment of madness that you needed to get out of your system
I don't know how I'll manage the 2ww either! I hope you have some good things planned over the next two weeks to help distract you? Sending baby dust your way!

Thanks kelinik, snugglepants and madmac for your replies and you were right. Me n OH have been talking tonight and he said it's more money he's worried about than anything. I think i reassured him tho - we've still got EVERYTHING from our first so no huge expenses there. He is concerned about us only having a 2 bed but our bedroom is large enough to split into 2 singles no probs (if we dont/cant move). Just a wobble phew!
Bless ya clarity, i've done that one before. If only they worked that quickly.£387.39/£196.46

Aww thanks guys...I will not do another for at least a week!
I need to start chanting that I think! How do we cope with this ttc lark x0 -
Ladies... need some advice..
Tomorrow I am going to see my GP as I am now on CD43 or 44 and I normally have a 28-30 day cycle. All my tests have been BFN's.
I am wondering what to expect from GP by way of tests? I already know she doesn't do blood tests and will send me to the hospital for one of those, so I can only assume at best she may do a urine test? My eBay cheapies are sensitive to 10ml/u or whatever that measurement is - this is bound to be as sensitive or more sensitive than hers, right?
Finally, the question I really wanted to ask is can she do an internal exam and tell if I'm pregnant? if I have to wait for blood test results I may go a bit doolally..
So.. anyone know what happens?0 -

Glad it is just that! DH had the same worries - had to explain that babies cost next to nothing (esp if you breastfeed!) and that we have some of DD's old stuff, 1 yr old niece to buy stuff of hers cheap from her mum and good friend has a sonIt can be done so easily - alot of people will never be "ready" to TTC because they plan too much around money - mainly what they "cannot afford to give up" lifestyle-wise from what I've seen. Happy bd'ing

I don't know tbh - I wish I was on the 2ww! I'm sure there are several people here who are, who can keep you preoccupiedLadies... need some advice..

Hmmmm....I'm inclined to say no. Correct me if I'm wrong? As far as I know, you would need a blood test from doc to confirm pg, or have an internal US at hospital if investigating this early? Urine test AFAIK is not as sensitive as 10ml/u, but have you tried anything other than eBay cheapies (in case of an "off" batch?). I'm a little confused as to what they are going to do, but I really hope you get some answers Annie. I hope you don't have a long wait either, but ultimately I hope she at least can give you an idea as to what's going on.0
