I'm sorry Leopard Lady and Nunny, I completely understand why you need to take a step back from it all though. We will miss your words of wisdom!
I totally agree! Keep smiling ladies and hopefully we can all meet up again on the pg board one day
(just a possible fly in the ointment scotsgirl but you're sure all the hcg's out of your system from your mc? Don't want to be a party pooper but just wanted to check just in case..)Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Hi bitzer, i think the mc hcg is long gone , tests were totally negative by the time i stopped bleeding. I was using opks too which i think would have shown it.0

In which case I have everything crossed for you scotsgirl. Just try and keep busy and not think about it honey. Don't know how you'd do that, but you can always try.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

thanks twinklie. This TTC really does mess with your head doesn't it!
I'm going on hols on Sunday (14 hours of flying...probably not the best!) so I'm going to try and focus on that, since I need to adjust some clothes and do all my packing.0 -
Yay Scotsgirl!! Don't want to add to your madness, but if your hormones are so strong this early then I reckon it must be good and sticky!
When I tested with my daughter, expecting full well it would be negative despite having every symptom in the book, the result came up in a flash on the day of my missed period. When I tested and got my brief positive last month the result took the soooo long to come up, and it was four days after my period was due. I knew then it wasn't looking good, so fingers very tightly crossed for you, and me too....:D
I'm SS really bad, but I really do feel PG. Am ravenous and my BBs are so sore! A week to go til I can test but maybe i'll buy a cheapie this weekend. What did you use?Debt free as of July 2010 :j

Fingers tightly crossed for you skintgypsy. I read something after I mc'd that basically said that once you've been through it, it's almost like a loss of innocence, and it's so true. Last time I was bouncing off the walls at the faintest line in the world - this time I'm too scared to be happy.
Bizarrely I have had a craving for fruit the last few days - I don't DO fruit, lol, ever!0 -
Just read what you wrote on the other thread smartie, and I agree with you. Thanks for putting that point across.....there's a lot to the TTC journey and each person has to experience the different things that come with it and learn/adjust on the way. I feel there can be a divide sometimes - not in a bad way, but I know it's hard on the old timers sometimes. I guess it's good they can get some respite over on the 12+ thread. I hope I'm not offending anyone, as - when given - I think the advice is brilliant from those in the know. But everyone has their journey to go on, and we can't really put rules on how to live it0

Thanks Smartie for saying what a lot of us are thinking, everyone has their own way of dealing with TTC, sometimes we have to take time away, sometimes we desperately need the support & to discuss how we are feeling, I thought that this is what this thread & the other one are for.0

Nunny & LL - I understand why you both want to move away, we'll miss you, but fingers crossed we all meet up on the pg thread soon! Take care. xxx
Madmac - hope your're already spoiling OH! Don't beat yourself up though, you've been through a lot lately, everyone lashes out occasionally and often it's those we love who bear the brunt.
Scotsgirl - ooh looks promising, will keep my fingers crossed.Fingers tightly crossed for you skintgypsy. I really know what you mean! Whilst I really want that BFP I think that I would be quite nervous/scared [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when I get another one.0 -
I rather think that we have caused some flack on the other thread, I don't think that I will be posting on there again.
All we were asking for is support & understanding like we get on this one, we weren't trying to cause trouble or an argument.0
