Trying For a Baby III

Courgette I'm with MadMac I wouldn't muck your body up again with the pill. If it were me personally I'd just relax about the whole thing, focus on your wedding and forget about TTC but just don't take precautions. If you get a BFP in the meantime then fantastic but if not then you've not been actively tying anyway. Let life find it's own way, if it's meant to be then it will be.
Polka your friend sounds dreadful and I would be aiming to put as much distance between her and I if it were me and just let her fade out of your life!
MadMac, sorry it's so hard at the mo but as you can see you are perfectly normal! Who'd be a woman eh not only with all the hormones and everything to cope with but a biological closck that could drown out the strikes of Big Ben to boot! Try and take your mind off TTC at the mo and think of some other lovely things-your wedding for instance! Get stuck into that and let the rest just fall into place.
I'm busy sorting the garden at the mo as we have just about finished the house now. So next weekend we have a ton of soil conditioner and a ton of slate chippings arriving (can you tell I'm not planning on it being a BFP next week!):rotfl:Then in a couple of weeks we're off to buy all the lovely plants! Can't wait!0 -
Not got much to say today but planning for hols next week so should be packing. I reckon I am due on towards the end of the holiday so if AF doesn't arrive I will test when I get back.
GL everyone, and keep smiling.0 -
Afternoon Everyone
Whos idea was it that I went to MILs last night? ...They were all watching BB and I cant stand it so was bored so I said to her "look please dont take this the wrong way, but your house is mingin, Iv wanted to clean it since the first time I met you... would you mind?" She was like erm if u must... So we outstayed our welcome to about half 4 this morning while i sorted thru piles of boxes shed had lying there since she moved in 6 years ago. Needless to say I dont think anyone was best impressed with me but she better be bloody greatful lol it was vile!:rotfl:
OHs got the footy on again and Im bored so be prepared for me to talk non stop for the next few hours0 -

That was my original plan but as much as I try to put ttc to the back of my mind and let nature take its course, it's not that easy. I had 2 bottles of pear cider when I went out last night and I'm worried that I shouldn't have done. I've been a bit bloated and crampy with really sore boobs for a couple of days and I really can't decide whether or not I should test. It's the whole 'am I/aren't I/should I/ shouldn't I' thing that's driving me mad. At least on the pill I'll know that 'yes I can have another glass of wine and no, it won't hurt any tiny people' and can relax about it a bit more. To be honest though, after deciding this morning (and definitely deciding, feeling really at peace with it) that I was gonna go on the pill when AF comes I've completely chaged my mind again I want to test right now.
Somebody just look in a crystal ball for me and tell me what to do please!!!Updating soon...0 -
Obsessed? Moi? If today is cd27 but no idea how long cycle is due to mc and being on pill for 10 years, then if I tested right now, would I be likely to get a BFP if there's one to be had? Something's def going on, either AF is due any time now or something far scarier...Updating soon...0

I think test if it stops you worrying! Could you do a poundlnd cheapo to save costs?0

Just did. BFN. What else did I seriously expect? What an idiot. There were the expensive clearblue ones too and don't have any left if AF still doesn't turn up. Plus I now feel really p!ssed off. What a stupid thing to do to myselfUpdating soon...0

Never mind Courgette, don't beat yourself up about it.
Sometimes deciding a date up front to test (and not before) can stop you (but not always!!).

Oh Courgette, Hugs to you! It is disappointing getting a bfn but you need to move on and think about the future. I understand what you say about alchohol etc but theres a huge amount of women who drink normally until they get a positive test. As long as you're moderate and not binge drinking I can't see in those couple of weeks before you find out that it would do any harm. That's a decision only you can make, it's an easy one for me because I don't drink anyway because of my meds so no decision. When are you due to get married? I would throw yourself into your planning and organising and really try and forget about it. I don't test now, I wait until a couple of days after af is due before I test. there was an exception to this a couple of months ago where my body had gone barmy and both DH and I were convinced I was pg, I was throwing up and feeling very icky, had the most incredibly tender boobs and nips! Even with those symptoms though it was just another negative month. At least you know now Courgette. Try and think about the positives in your life at the mo and think about the future rather than dwelling on an unsucessful month.0
