Oh My Goodness at the lucky so-an-so's who get 6 months FULL maternity pay!! But it's really good, and I'm glad women are being held up for their worth in some companies! I'll get the basic mat. package - 6 wks 90% pay and the rest (up to 33wks i think) SMP. TBH, I just hope I can fall pregnant - I'll deal with the finances along the way :D

emmzy - call them up and get a minute-by-minute running commentary of the soaps ;)

  • aaaaaaahh sorry, misread your post! And also sorry, I can't sympathise with you as I love sport lol. But we don't have T.V. (refuse to pay the BBC for the privilege) so I don't see anywhere near as much as I used to. Same with soaps though.....I used to be a soap w***e!! I honestly do not know how I actually survive without them!

Snugglepants thats the plan ;), Im just trying to figure how much I need to get a batch? I've a feeling DS and I are going to be in the woods quite a bit...I could double pick and freeze them until you come to bring me the strawberry wine, pack the dishwasher and meet the baby :DWhat an eventful week end it could be
I am fuming again. You know I mentioned these friends of ours moving out of the garage? They had supper with us last night and then left...but we didnt mind so much because we figured theyd have unpacking. So he was here today and we (girls) are meant to be going to this birthing seminaar on Saturday (long story)-he asked if DF and DS could come to their new house whilst us girls are out. I said he should talk to DF. They came back tonight for supper (wandered into the house and she sat down at my pc whilst I was in the kitchen cooking) whilst we were eating he asked DF about Saturday, they finished eating and she said she wanted to leave. The boys were standing talking about Saturday and I asked if she was okay with that plan. She said she didnt care. So I joked and said Id call her once the boys had finalised their plans. She went off at me again-saying "No, shed call me since her husband and I were making plans without consulting her."..Oh, and she's a South African I met in London

It's REALLY time to take a class I think.

    ETA:Twinklie I say fairfields

I know  I think Im going to impose a new rule upon myself-from now on any new friends I make will have to be from the United Kingdom. Since I've been in England Ive made friends with South Africans, Americans, Zimbabweans and an irish girl-she's the only one I love to have around without any need to tread on eggshells.
Its not easy making friends in London-but after two years of this Im sure I must be worth better than Ive been taking
